As a researcher, I am primarily interested in studying employee voice and other proactive behaviors. I'm interested in how managers promote or inhibit subordinates' voice as well as how subordinates can get their ideas endorsed at work. Additionally, I'm interested in studying how team dynamics and other aspects of the social context affect employee voice.
More recently, I've started to explore voice in multinational teams. One of the main reasons I'm interested in this setting is because team members are required to speak English even if English is not their native language, which creates an interesting context to study voice.
