The United Federation of Paper Planes, most often simply referred to as the United Federation, The Federation or offhandedly as The Fed is a Federal Republic comprised of 46 federal states, one invested Territory (Port Freeland) several Organized Territories, multiple outlying Territories, and posessing a military of a Navy, Air Force, and Army. It was founded as a union of people interested in micronationalism and paper aircraft design on May 25th, 2017, by John Banks-George and Liam St. John, in the wake of the two John and Liam Wars.
Over the coming months it evolved into one of the foremost powers after fighting several wars with it's various challengers, before becoming the undisputed superpower of the SPN just before the outbreak of the Great Prairie War, or Prairie War I. Following that conflict, the Federation was accompanied by the Central Despan Republic and UNSC as major superpowers, and later the Federal Wisconsinite Republic following Prairie War II. After an economic depression and near-governmental collapse, Ryan Madden took control of the Federation and declared it dissolved into the 4th Reich, a fascist superstate which eventually lost Prairie War III to an alliance of the Federation's allies, and eventually, the defected democratic forces of the Federation itself. After Jackson Deminsky's election to the Presidency, the Federation recovered and re-democratized throughout his two terms.
The United Federation is the largest nation in the Sun Prairie Nations, and is one of the most powerful nations in the SPN. The Head of State and Government is vested in the office of the President of the Federation, and the legislative assembly is divided into two houses, the State Council performing day-to-day work and normal laws, while the upper house of the High Command has the power of amending the constitution, impeaching the President, and declaring war.

Unlike many other Sun Prairie Nations, the Federation is not a group of similar people with the same beliefs, such as the Coalition (at it's beginning, people united by a disapproval of the Federation) or the Granache (people united by a common religion based around lakes and water). It is instead a union of friends and comrades united by common goals of Friendship, Camaraderie, and Liberty.
Government

It makes all laws concerning the UFP, and it has the power to declare war on any other sovereign nation, or a rebelling state/territory.

HISTORY
HISTORY
The predecessor to the original Federation was the John Paper Air Force. This Government was made up of two individuals, John B. G. and Adrian Schlafer. The Air Force was originally made of simple NakLocks, Darts, and John's custom gliders. A unit named Adrian's Army was made up of origami tanks called Paper Panzers. This government was joined by Ryan Madden quickly. The three realized that this government wasn't working. They created a new government which they named the United Federation of Paper Planes. This government lasted through fifth grade. But it was 6th grade when things started going wrong. Adrian was kicked out without the permission nor support of John, the President at the time. He disbanded the Federation. But that was a mistake.
1st War
Competition was discovered, in the form of Liam St. John. John B.G. began building up a military, but with a undocumented approach to building planes. The first day of the war he brought out something big. But bigger isn't always better. John created a massive, 8 paper Naklock that suffered horribly from wing flutter and drag. Liam's Fire-Stars outdid John's 100 to 1. The war went downhill for John. The only victory in a string of losses was the design of the Gateway Spirit-class plane. But after that victory, the war began to go badly again. Until he finally found something on his shelf. An old Y-03 plane from before the original Federation. The wind hit the plane and shot it in the air. The plane glided down and into the field. That marked the end of the 1st war
2nd War
The second war began with the development of the Sparrow. It was a sturdy plane that was capable of direct competition with Liam's Fire-Stars. The first day of the second war was also the last. It was a couple weeks after the first war and the Alliance against Liam declared war on Liam and Liam forfeited when he did not want another war, and admitted that the Sparrows were a very well-flying aircraft.
United Federation
On June 20th, John B.G. and Liam St. John came together and founded the New Federation of Paper Planes, taking inspiration and learned lessons from the Old Federation. On June 22, John B.G. won a unanimous Victory for the office of President.
John's 1st Presidency
John's 1st Presidency
John B.G. first created a flag for the Federation, using the Starbird and Delta from the Alliance against Liam. As the flag was created, it created some controversy, as it had little to do with Liam at all, even though he was the co-founder. However, Liam actually approved of the Flag, and he voted for the flag. The Federation gained 16 members by the 25th of June, but there was one person who refused to join, despite loving paper planes and being friends with almost all of the Federation members. His name was Noah Berg, and would become a very important figure in the history of the Federation. He soon began to make his own planes, and the Federation took notice. He made several planes to challenge the Federation's Air Superiority, and after the Federation members who flew planes laughed at his failure, he ripped the Spirit of Independence, a Federation cruiser. This was an act of War, and the Federation and the Rebel Alliance went to war to over who's planes were superior. This war lasted 4 months and ended on September 4th, 2017, the same day President Ainsley Wall was sworn into office.

President Wall ran against Gnd. Adml. Ryan Madden in a two way election, that was somewhat interesting. Ryan, after learning he was losing by a lot, forfeited. Ainsley was unchallenged, so she won the Election.

While she technically oversaw the end of the War with Noah, she also changed the Federation in many ways. She:
Oversaw the Federation Navy's expansion.
Changed the Flagship to the USS Forward unto Dawn
Authorized the creation of the United Federation's Marine Corps and Army Ground Forces
Personally led the Federation's Army at the Battle of Lake Carriage in the War against the Granache.
Ended the War with the Granache
Used the High Command more than any other president.

Reformation
Reformation
After the Federation had, in continuos order, become the New Republic, PMMS Empire, Federation of Free Alliances, and the Republics of New Archton, Burke Park, and Valentino, these multiple republics all voted together to re-create the UFP.
However, corruption in the new government was rampant, so 7 states seceded from the UFP. These were New Caprica, Circles, Roman, Prairie, Burke Park, Crayonland, and Pearl. They created the United Colonies.
After the Federation fell apart, the Colonies rejoined, and re-wrote the entire Federation Constitution to a more perfect state. The Federation remains today as one of only two states to completely survive what is referred to as the Dark Times, the other being the Coalition, reformed later on.
First Order War
First Order War
After reformation, John B.G. was elected as the next president of the UFP, to serve out a second term. He oversaw the ratification of the new constitution, the joining of other states, and the formation of the State Council. However, Aidan Tucker and Joshua Keller announced their secession soon after, and it was up to the State Council to decide what would happen.
Because of the two of them leaving, along with Ainsley Wall later, the Federations dangerous balance between Prairie View and Patrick Marsh was hindered. Prairie View, with the majority in the council, pushed for immediate mobilization of the Armed Forces, and ordered to fleet commanders to station as many vessels as possible in the states of Valentino and New Wisconsin, bordering the First Order.
However, those at Patrick Marsh were far more hesitant about going to war again after the experience of the United Colonies and the previous Granache War. Patrick Marsh, often even the capitol grounds themselves, were hit hardest by the war, while Prairie View watched from the sidelines.
President John B.G., who had recently made Caleb Damask the Vice-President, was fully against the war. He had previously begun immediate negotiations with the First Order for an alliance, but after the State Council voted differently, he was forced to sign the Declaration of War. He repeatedly held the State Council to revotes, enough that they forced him to stop, and he then had Caleb Damask do the same. But it had no effect, and the War continued.
Many were now looking against the War, and protests against the State Council ensued multiple times. Eventually though, the First Order collapsed under the pressure of the War, and the Federation was again at peace. At this point, President John B.G. had nearly been impeached for his efforts to stop the War, but was acquitted. Due to the unpopularity of the War, many have referred to it as the "Fed's Vietnam," and it is rarely brought up in politics.

After the First Order War, the Democratic People's Republic of Garfea was founded, as the newest nation of the Sun Prairie Nations. It was a parody of North Korea, and was based on Garfield Cat. It was headed by Luke Gainey. Before the State Council could convene, John and Luke immediately drew up a treaty for alliance, which was signed the same day. The Council Ratified the treaty the following day.
Another nation, the Republic of New Washburn, was also established around this time as a breakaway state. It also signed the alliance treaty. These three nations would remain in good relations for a long time.
March of the Nations
March of the Nations
As a celebration of the Sun Prairie Nations, the March of the Nations, in which the UFP, North Garfea, and the Republic of New Washburn, along with the former nations of the Coalition and Weeb Nation, marched with their large flags around Patrick Marsh, singing songs like "March On" and the "Battle Cry of Freedom."
Once the march was over, the national anthems of all the nations were played in turn: New Washburn, Weeb Nation, the Coalition, North Garfea, and the UFP. This inspired tears in many present, and it was announced that the Coalition would be making a re-emergence, as another allied nation of the UFP and others. After this, John B.G. took the stage and announced the Federation's dual citizenship policy. Cheering and clapping then ensued. Afterwards, the March Continued.

Election of Carson Clumpner
Carson Clumpner succeeded his friend and mentor John as the 6th President. He championed peace, but a stable military at the same time. He defeated the Secretary of the Navy Calvin Petri in the election, by a very slim margin.
During his presidency, the Battle of Castle Rock Lake occurred, adding the Territory and later state of Castle Rock to the UFP. In addition, he personally lead the UFP Navy ship Endeavor, a large pontoon boat under the command of John B.G., in an invasion of the Nakomis Islands, and added this territory to the Federation as well. He continued to add territory, and saw the Federation through 20 states.
The Zink Era

Towards the end of Carson's Presidency, Republic of Circles, one of the Federation's states, declared independence. The nations existed peacefully for some time, until the Republic of Circles Threatened the State of Valentino. After this, the Republic declared war on the UFP, and the nation was again at war. After just 4 hours of a wartime stance, the Federation had put all vessels on a Battle Order One, meaning that all ships were operating under wartime conditions, and had ordered 10 more destroyers of the Spirit-class, which would prove invaluable later in the War.
The Federation's close ally North Garfea joined the war the next day, and the Coalition and New Washburn followed soon after, creating the Alliance of Free States.
The Election in the UFP was not postponed, and as such it was won, by the popular candidate and war hero Connor Zink. He immediately laid siege to the capitol of Circles, Hunter's Ridge, and ordered a second Freedom Lance exercise.
Battle of Cardinal Heights
On the 12th of September, the Flynn Area declared independence from the UFP, and also declared war soon after. Their Fleet, with three Former Federation Ships (Bainbridge, Labrador, and Maple Glider) then readied for battle.
The Alliance fleet was a selection of the finest of the United Federation assembled for a common goal. Luke Gainey, Chairman of North Garfea, was commanding the USS Missouri, Former Presidents Carson Clumpner and Ainsley Wall (making a rare Comeback) commanding the Guam and Texas respectively, and as a part of the Three Vessel Core under the command of John B.G., was the USS Puerto Rico, the 90th vessel of it's class built for the Federation.
The fleets engaged in a short shootout, in which the Puerto Rico was very heavily damaged. As she attempted to retreat, she was focused down by the enemy and was her tail fin was knocked into an unrecognizable state.
After this, a peace treaty was signed, giving independence to Flynnland, and re-annexation of Circles into the Federation.
The Federation's new Vice-President, James Duval, had amassed a large portion of territory, including all of the former Coalition of the North, and thus, we was under pressure from the government to share the wealth of resources with the other states.
This caused Jacob Eiden, the Governor and Senator for Burke Park, to declare independence. Because of the Vast resources of the State, the Federation declared war to get it back, and because of this unwarranted move, the State of ThatOneLonelyBoi of James Duval (sometimes called Duvalia) declared independence as well. This caused the State of Meowtopia to declare independence and join Duvalia. The Federation declared war on all of the new nations, and thus the war had begun.See Also: Federation Civil War
The Federation laid siege to Burke Park, and it's cannons rained down on the tiny capitol. However, after a week of siege, the Government of Burke Park, upon learning that Duval had left, rejoined the Federation.
Meanwhile, at Cardinal Heights, the Air Forces of the Federation and the Meowtopia-Duvalia alliance battled it out in the sky. The Battle was eventually won, and Meowtopia was re-annexed as a protectorate. It later regained statehood. Duvalia was eventually retaken from the remaining enemy forces. Duval was removed as Vice President.
After this, the Midnight Republic and Salamandastron were founded. In addition, the small nation of Cuugae became independent, and it became a neutral nation.
Soon after, the Republic of Despa was formed by Alex Oehrline, and declared war on the Federation. Soon after, the Midnight Republic declared it's allegiance with them, forming an alliance. The war went on until the culmination of the war, at Eastside, held by the Midnight Republic, and the home of the Original Federation.
The United Federation Marine Corps attacked the compound at Eastside, which was defended by the mercenary friends of Midnight Republic President Ainsley Wall. The Federation forces came out victorious, and the Midnight Republic pulled out of the War. The end of the war was seen to be fast approaching, so the M.R. and Despa surrendered. In the treaty, it was decided that the M.R. and Despa would become one country, in a confederated state style.See Also: Midnight Republic of Despa
Soon after, Burke Park gained it's independence and joined the MRD, as did Salamandastron and Meowtopia. This made president Zink extremely nervous, as the MRD now seemed as though it was trying to surround the Federation.
It was later discovered that the Midnight Republic of Despa was planning an Invasion of the Federation, New Washburn, and Flynnland, despite none of the other nations being allied with the UFP. In defense of the Neutral States, the Federation declared war on the MRD, and president Zink once again led the Federation to a victory over the MRD after it suffered multiple internal Coups and the loss of a large portion of it's fleet.
At the End of this war, the United Federation was in a state of extreme economic struggle. The wars had cost the Government multiple thousands of millions in Federation dollars, and the Federation Fleet was at a level of barely 100 aircraft. However, Connor Zink failed to recognize the Situation, and focused on the Fleet. He pumped the remaining budget into the old Lexington and Spirit-class Aircraft. By the end of his term, he had won 5 wars, thrived under pressure, but failed to support the economy, leaving 3 entire states bankrupt. In addition, the MRD had broken up and become the Republic of Despa and Dauntless.

President Zink, after the success of his Wartime Victories, sought a second term for president. However, due to his unpopular wartime policies, he lost in a landslide to Nicholas Lapord, former Vice President and Commodore of the Fleet. Immediately, he reversed policy. He began a campaign to modernize and replace the Federation's aging fleet. By the end of his presidency, the fleet would number over 400, all modern and capable.
About halfway through Lapord's presidency, the S.S. Mexico Star, an unarmed freighter, was captured and destroyed by the so-called Monday Rebellion. The Federation, along with Despa and the Republic of New Washburn began a military campaign against the Rebellion. A joint task force of the Despan Airfleet and the Federation Starfleet joined over Cardinal heights, and after tracing the Rebel forces, engaged. The USS George H.W. Bush was heavily hit during the attack, and eventually was declared unfit for service. However, the battle was a tactical victory, leading to the rebellion being pushed further back.
However, President Lapord devised a solution to the war. He declared the Federation was disbanded, giving the victory to the Rebellion, or at least making them think that was the case. However, the Federation reformed one day later, and steamrolled the remaining forces. By the end of Nicholas Lapord's term, he was considered by most, including John Banks-George, to be the Federation's Greatest president.

After the campaign for the next election kicked off, Christopher Fallis, a relative outsider, who had only been a short-lived VP and a two month senator for New Canada (the colony), declared his running for the presidency. He and Nicholas Lapord had a tough campaign, and in the end the vote was only 1.9% in majority for Chris Fallis. The final result was decided by the State of Pearl, which shifted at the last minute to Fallis.
During the first portion of his presidency, Chris Fallis continued many of President Lapord's policies, in order to continue with the prosperity that was being experienced. However, after one month, on the 27th of March, the nations of North Garfea, Nermals Swedish Expanse, and the Flynjnipinnes declared war on the United Federation. Immediately, all military forces were mobilized, and an emergency session of the State Council declared war immediately. However, ground was being lost at an unbelievable rate, as the military machine of the now-called Broalition pushed up through Centralia, across the Isthmus of Madison, and south into New Alaska and Mervonia.
The Republic of Crimson Dusk was the first nation to declare it's alliance with the Federation, followed by the Republic of Valentino, Despa, and Dauntless. Liam St. John, the Anti-Fed Forces, UNSC, and the Republic of Connor joined the war on the Side of Broalition, against the Union Forces. Despite being outnumbered by a ratio of 3 to 2, the Union Forces managed to win Stunning victories at the first and second battles of Drive Island, causing a retreat by the UNSC and North Garfea from Centralia. The Isthmus was retaken, and the UNSC dropped out of the War. The Flynjnipinnes had been pushed back to their own territory and capitulated as well. However, the war was far from over.
With the Federation suffering staggering losses, the First Fleet was assigned to be the last forward deployed Federation Fleet for a short time, as the remainder of the fleet recouped their losses. However, as the Garfean, Nermal, Connor, and Antifed Forces all began to gather in an attempt to push back the Union Forces at E House, The Federation, after much deliberation, committed all of it's forces remaining to the final battle, with the Republic of Despa sending over 75% of their battle fleet to assist, and Crimson Dusk, Dauntless,Valentino and the newly formed Federal Wisconsinite Republic all committed their remaining vessels. Still outnumbered, the Union Forces moved in for an assault. The Final battle would then, take place at E House.
The Battle of E House was the largest ever battle to ever take place in the History of the Sun Prairie Nations, with over 600 aircraft participating, and almost all nations having forces present. The battle initially started poorly for the Union, but Admiral John Banks-George and Despan Commander Alex Oherline used their ships to push through the Broalition's lines, and the Broalition sustained major losses. As the Union gained the advantage, the USS Enterprise was slammed with a hit from the Broalition Flagship, but was able to continue fighting. It was decommissioned later that month because of the damage. The Broalition finally fell back and gave in with a total capitulation of the remaining nations.
The Treaty of Burnuckle's Law led to the territory of North Garfea and Nermal's Swedish Expanse to be completely divided up. The remaining nations had to pay major fees in reparations. By the end of the War, the Federation's economy had tanked hard, as it had taken most of the major blows at the start of the War. However, it had shown that despite doubts, Chris Fallis and his VP Ethan Moehr were able to lead the Federation to victory. After this war, the Republic of Valentino and Despa passed the Fed in economic standings.

After the war, Jacob Eiden announced his running for president, and after an eventful campaign, in which Jacob Monday was accidentally declared the winner, an then the absentee ballots changed the result, Jacob Eiden was sworn in as the President of the Federation.
After this, Jacob Eiden signed into legislation only two acts, a demilitarization act and a nuclear reduction act. After this, he seemed to just stop acting as the President, which was partially influenced by the long period of peace from the Great Prairie War. During his presidency, the occupied sections after the war on the Mendotan Coast united to become the West Mendotan Republic, with Jacob Monday as the president.

Another election rolled around in July, with Ryan Madden winning the election. However, while Jacob Eiden was still President, he resigned prematurely out of fear of the responsibility of the office.
The Prairie Union

Just before the Madden Resignation, the Federation, along with Dauntless, Crimson Dusk, the UNSC,New Washburn, and the FWR unified in a multinational organization called the Prairie Union. The Prairie Union gained Radtopia and the West Mendotan Republic as members as well. The Prairie Union was also the single biggest reason that the Federation was able to weather the economic crash from Madden's resignation. In addition, it gained huge swathes of land from the Dissolution of the Republic of Despa, and it was distributed between the Union Members. With a looming crisis, John B.G. (Ryan's VP) selected Addison Boott, the third in Command, to take the office of President.

Addison Boott first stabilized the economy of the Federation, and worked with the leaders of the Prairie Union's other members in order to tighten the bonds in the Union. President Boott also worked to repeal the military disarmament act. She was able to miraculously increase economic growth despite the resignation of Ryan Madden, and also was able to build several new vessels for the Federation Fleet. On October 3rd she started a Snap Election, fearing that she would be seen as an illegitimate president. She was the last President of the Republicats Party.

Andrew Anderson was elected by a 3 point margin as the 12th President of the Federation. He started his term by increasing the military budget, a move that became an important one later in his tenure. He also ended the fruitless 3rd Despa War, leading to a peace treaty and even an alliance which would also later become vital. He changed the flagship of the Federation to the USS Winston Churchill, and worked across the isle to help foster cooperation between the parties.
However, two weeks into his term, the Second Great Prairie War broke out. The Federation was caught off guard by the war, with a majority of it's battle fleet in repair yards. Taking the Fleet to Battle Order 1, President Anderson immediately convened the State Council to declare war on the Catxis Powers. Despite the brave fighting of the horrifically outnumbered Federation Battle Fleet, the Federation lost massive swaths of land in the south, and the Allies lost in the Battle of the East Hill, but were able to make the Catxis Powers dig in in the south.
By working with the C.D.R., F.W.R., West Mendota, and Crimson Dusk, President Anderson was able to successfully initiate Operation Gilded Dove, the joint allied assault on Grand Meowtopia. In one afternoon, the Federation had managed to turn the tide and later was able to take the nation out. Turning south, Operation Freedom's Wave successfully liberated Meowtopia and Nickeragua.
The UNSC then pushed through the south of the United Federation, and eventually up into the north. The UNSC occupied the Federation for a short few days, but eventually the Allies pushed them back. After a week-long stalemate, the Federation and her allies launched a massive invasion into the UNSC, and the Catxis Powers had to surrender to the United Federation. The war ended with the signing of the Treaty of Fitchburg, which changed many rules of warfare in order to help make the SPN combat less drastic and all-consuming.
Following the war, the Federation re-founded SPATO with Despa, and the two grew even closer together, re-affirming their special relationship alliance. The Federation participated in the SPATO fleet deployment during the Centralia Canal Crisis. After this the Federation increased ties with the West Mendotan Republic and the newly re-made Deutsches Union.

Following the war, Calvin Petri of the Union Party became the first president to be elected following a same-party President. He inherited the Centralia Canal Crisis, and was able to successfully resolve the situation and began to attempt to cool the tensions between the two countries. He focused heavily on ensuring peace, with things such as the Schwartzy Plan to rebuild the nations effected by the war and naval re-armament to ensure that there could not be another defeat like the 1st Battle of Lake Waubesa.
Calvin Petri's Presidency saw a major change in the Federation, with a shift in the Union Party to more centrist than liberal, the Democats shifting further to the left, the Pacifist Re-organization which changed the party into a Chrisitian-Democrat Party, and the foundation of the new Federalist Party, which was later re-named the Conservative Party, a centre-right party. Petri ended his term with a relatively high approval rating, but some wished he would have done more during his time.

The former two-time Vice-President, and the first President of the Pacifist Party, Jacob Monday had long had presidential ambitions, and following Calvin Petri opting not to run for a second term, Monday became the obvious choice. However, he faced an unexpectedly tall challenge from Caden Schwartz, the Conservative from Arstotzka and President of the F.W.R. In the election, Schwartz presented a major challenge against Monday, even flipping several states that were expected to go to Monday. However, several factors, including the selection of a running mate from Meowtopia, swung the election in the favor of Jacob Monday, as he carried around 56% of the vote.
Throughout Monday's presidency, the Federation saw some economic growth, as the recovery from war had begun to truly take hold, and many new ships were commissioned into the Fleet. Monday also instituted several major laws regarding new businesses and de-regulation, including the BID Act, which almost entirely changed the way small businesses were operated in the Federation. This act was very controversial at the time, so much so that the Conservatives filibustered the bill for a week, the first such filibuster in Federation History.
In addition, the United Federation Military gained a new branch, the Federation Space Force. This bill was, in fact, broadly popular and deemed necessary as many could foresee the potential space competition.

The next election resulted in the election of one of the most influential Presidents in the Federation's History, Caden A. Schwartz. Schwartz was previously the President of the Federal Wisconsinite Republic, and the creator of the Conservative Party. His rise to power in a landslide defeat of the Union Party was seen as a massive shift in the balance of power, and was a signal of the newfound strength of the Conservative Movement, which for many months had been a minor player within the Federation. Though Jacob Monday was a self-identified Christian Democrat, and his party was very mildly right-wing, Caden Schwartz was the first true Conservative.
His first few weeks in the office were slow, though he did make more steps for increased military spending. However, in his second month he truly began to branch off, working in the Prairie Union's bureaucracy to create the Prairie Union Space Agency, and ordered the construction of the Prairie Union Space Shuttle, and his first term saw the launch of Challenger in SLST-01 for the first launch of the Shuttle. He also oversaw the creation of the Prairie Union Space Station Program, and oversaw several of the modules launched for it.
In domestic policy, he continued to increase military spending, and implemented a cautious, though not necessarily hostile, policy for the New UNSC, and frequently spoke out against communist re-emergence as a potential threat if it became serious. He also passed an executive order which re-organized the State Militias into the United Federation National Guard.
Schwartz won re-election in a major upset, breaking the one-term tradition in Presidential Politics, becoming the first President since Ainsley Wall to win a second consecutive term, and the first since John Banks-George's second term in 2018. However, the Conservative Party did lose a large number of seats in the election, losing it's majority status in the State Council, being forced to make a coalition with the Union and Pacifist Parties against the Democats and Defenders. His second term was relatively relaxed, with the final launch of the Prairie Union Space Agency for the year 2020 being during this time, and the economy remained in growth.
Schwartz also spearheaded a coalition intervention into the Republic of Crimson Dusk, in which the Federation, the FWR, West Mendota, and Manitowoc invaded the failing Crimson Dusk to ensure stability. A referendum in the former nation was held which resulted in Statehood for the former nation. Shortly after, West Mendota itself joined the Federation, which added an even larger boost for the Federation's national economy.
The end of his Presidency saw a controversial article in his time in office, as he was sued by the State of New Illinois for attempting to run for a third term. This case in the Supreme Court, which was adjudicated by Chief Justice Tucker, resulted in the upholding of the 2-term rule from the Old Constitution, the use for the Old Constitution in cases where the New does not expressly overrule it, and the prevention of Schwartz seeking a third term. He instead endorsed his Vice-President, Jackson Nesbit, as his successor.

Instead of a Conservative Dynasty like Schwartz had hoped, instead, Nesbit was soundly defeated, along with Union nominee Jackson Deminsky, by a newly-resurgent Rydon Foldhazi, and his Defender Party, which had won major power in the Senate in Schwartz's second re-election and had increased them in the Mid-Term Realignments. Under Foldhazi's leadership, his party had managed to overcome Schwartz's presidential authority and form a voting caucus with the Union Party to officially change the system of the Federation's Elections, in the cases of 3 or more candidates, from First-past-the-post to Ranked Choice.
As President, however, Foldhazi's term was defined by the seemingly total collapse of the entire SPN, which had by now, been plagued by disinterest and uniformity for too long a time. Despite his personal popularity, and majority in the State Council, Foldhazi did not introduce any legislation throughout both of his terms, a seemingly perfect expression of The Recess and it's accompanying disinterest.

After 6 months of The Recess, the people of the Federation chose Ethan Flood in a landslide election, returning the Union Party to the Presidency after 15 months and President Calvin Petri. The cause of the Union party's sudden popularity is debated, and it is also difficult to say for certain, as, though there was a noticeable increase in voter turnout from the last two elections, it was still much lower than elections under Schwartz, Monday, and Petri. However, the conventional explaination is a combination of Flood's personal popularity, his experience as Governor during the Zink Recession, and the Union Party's reputation as the party that led the Federation through some of it's darkest hours.
For most of Flood's term, it seemed that the trends of the Recess would stay the same, but noticeably, the disinterest and economic struggles began to trickle away, and with the start of the October 2021 Election, it was clear that the SPN was, though slowly, coming back.
Despite a 70% approval rating and the support of his party, Flood ultimately decided not to run for a third term, instead passing on the duties to his party's chairman and ally, Alexander Knebel.

The Ascension of Alexander Knebel to the Office of President seemed to many to be the beginning an era of decision - if the Sun Prairie Nations would continue at all, or if they would end despite the progress made. Instead, the Decision was made before Knebel even took office, as the Central Despan Republic, Federal Wisconsinite Republic, Republic of Valentino, Kingdom of Pyrrhia, Alpine Union, and United Manonan States all, simultaneously, began military buildups as a result of rising tensions between the F.W.R. and Valentino, a story repeating itself for the largest time yet.
Knebel, a political ally of the F.W.R and specifically it's President, (and his own running mate) Caden Schwartz, announced, before he was sworn in, that he intended to pull the United Federation out of the Valentino Treaty, a Foldhazi-era Treaty which guaranteed mutual defense between the two nations in lieu of Valentino joining SPATO after the Valentino Pact collapsed. This caused a major breakup of ties between the United Manonan States and the United Northern Nations, which both eventually left SPATO and founded, with Valentino, the Greenbush Treaty Organization.
The removal of the Valentino-Treaty was only the start however, as immediately after the announcement of this at the post-inaugural conference, he also announced the Federation would be leaving SPATO, effectively disbanding what is left of the alliance. Schwartz, recently inaugurated as VP, then resigned, leaving Ryan Madden of another resignation's fame to take up the position.
This kickstarted the November Crisis in which the Federal Wisconsinite Republic briefly declared war against the Federation as a result of either (or perhaps, a combination of) fear of the inconsistency and sudden isolationism of the United Federation's Government or seeing in opportunity therein. However, this declaration was rescinded shortly.
This crisis, now called the November Crisis, is widely seen as the moment that the theoretical military strategies and resultant buildups ended, and the concrete conflicts of what would become the Third Great Prairie War began. The United Federation, with Alex Knebel now repairing his relationship with Schwartz, sold him, personally, the lands of Ft. Atkinson and parts of Koshkonong Sea.
On the 4th of November, 2021, at 12:00, the Holy Roman Empire, formed in the Ft. Atkinson Land which was sold to Schwartz, was declared, and at 12:05 United Federation Standard Time, Schwartz declared war on the Central Despan Republic, Kingdom of Pyrrhia, and the Alpine Union. Knebel, rather than wait for a declaration of war from the High Command and State Council, instead dissolved both branches of the Senate, and officially took dictatorial powers over the Federation Government.
In the wake of this event, there began a mass exodus of people and material from the United Federation, especially from states like New Illinois and the Rust Belt region. The Imperial War, in fact, turned out to be essentially a white peace - a pointless, expensive white peace.

Alex Knebel resigned in the wake of this massive failure, leaving Ryan Madden to take over. At first, Madden made concerted attempts to make a lasting peace with other countries, especially the United Manonan States due to his long-standing relationship with Manonan Leader and Founder of the UFP John Banks-George.
When the West Mendotan Republic proposed a "peace plan" which would have seen the Federation's military reduced by treaty and enforced by West Mendotan Troops, Madden refused, prompting further tensions with West Mendota. He attempted to make up for this by hosting a War Crimes trial of the Holy Roman Empire, but West Mendota as well as Despa were further upset when Schwartz was allowed to return to the F.W.R.
Alex Knebel, perhaps sensing an opportunity to force Madden out too, or perhaps acting on behalf of his own ambition, declared his state's secession from the Federation and a new "Circles Republic." Madden responded by using 13 nuclear warheads in a concentrated bombardment of the territory and military assets of the Circles Republic. This act drew widespread condemnation from members of the international community, before the United Manonan States and the Federal Wisconsinite Republic declared war on the United Federation, which would shortly be re-named the Imperial 4th Reich and democracy in the territory would be dissolved.
In the ensuing Prairie War III, the Reich would make serious territorial gains using Federation Military superiority in tactics and equipment, but without the aid of major corporations which had left, the invasions were stalled after taking the F.W.R. mainland. The Manonan Navy, in particular, was key in it's role of delaying and then halting the advance.
In the Allied Council, which eventually included every member of the SPN outside the Reich, a Federation Government-in-exile would be created by defectors and escapees, which would eventually be headed by Lydia Guilford as the 20th President. Guilford, an artist by trade, would be the first Independent since Conner Zink to win an election. Guilford's administration is largely creditted with leading the Federation through one of it's darkest hours, and for a number of symbolic victories, including the Federation Troops landing first during Operation Downfall, these same troops being the first to enter the Capital, and though it was not planned, the photograph of the Federation Flag being hoisted on Mt. Feldanachi, overlooking the Patrick Marsh Building where the Federation was born.

When the war ended, Guilford helped oversee the beginning of the Occupation of the Federation and the start of a reorganization and naval rearmament of the United Federation. However, most of these tasks would be taken up by Vice-President and successor, Jackson Deminsky.
In both contemperous and historical consideration, the United Federation is considered to be a member of the Allied Powers throughout the majority of the war, though it is highly debated as to what place the government of the Federation played in the start of the war, as well as the war's initial course. There has been additional, significant debate as to the role of the Federation Military Forces and the average soldier in the war. The Federation Government has assumed full responsibility for the start of the war, but remains unresolved in the field of guilt for War Crimes committed under Ryan Madden's regime.
It is most frequently argued that because Madden was the recognized leader of the United Federation, and that he declared it to be disbanded and assumed the name of the Reich - as opposed to retaining the same legal standing - that the Reich and the Federation are seperate entities occupying similar territories. The use of Federation military equipment and tradition has caused some dispute as to the legitimacy of this assertion, though it remains the near-universal one in historical and civilian circles.

Deminsky was a unique figure in Federation Politics, being a member of almost every major political party in the Federation; The Republicats, the Pacifists, the Democats, and the Union Party. Additionally, he had been the 4th and Final Prime Minister of the Coalition of the North so long ago and one of the leaders of the Patrick Marsh Empire before he founded the State of Kekistan and served as it's legacy senator. During Prairie War III, he escaped the Reich and joined the Government-in-exile, before being appointed Vice-President by Lydia Guilford. Under that guise, he delivered one of the most famous addresses of the war, and of the Federation itself, the "Plea of Defection;"
You may think yourselves better than our opponent, but there you stand: the good men doing nothing. And while the enemy of civilization triumphs, and our rigid pacifism crumbles into dust, the only victory afforded to you is that you stuck true to our guns. Those who failed to rise were cowards to your last whimper, never taking the steps needed to ensure true peace. In this war, I fear not that I will die, but that all I have come to love and respect about this nation will perish with me.
While it cannot be quantitatively determined, it is widely believed that this was the primary driver of the mass defections in coming weeks by the Imperial Navy and Army, as well as a number of Starfleet Vessels and their crews.
For Operation Downfall, Deminsky was appointed Supreme Commander of Allied Expeditionary Forces, and himself landed with the first wave of Federation troops at Luna Beach. His direction of troops there and general presence is considered one of the finest examples of military command in the War. He would later oversee the landings on Isla Rando and would be present for the famous photograph mentioned above.
With occupation and reconstruction in process, Deminsky founded the Alliance Party, ending his relationship with the Union Party, as the reputational damage to both the Union and Conservatives were seen by him, and the general public, to be far too much to repair. Deminsky nominated Madeline Caro as his Vice-President, and together the two won a landslide 71% of the Vote, seen as a perfect manifestation of Deminsky's personal popularity and the need for a change in government.
As President he oversaw the passage of the Fascism Prevention Act, a proposal by his Vice-President Maddie Caro, along with the ratification of the International Committee and the Treaty on Nuclear Disarmament by his administration and party. These were the first major internal administrative actions since the Schwartz Administration, and by far the most far-reaching adjustments to governmental recognition of Rights since the Eiden Administration.
By this point, however, it was clear that the SPN in general would never again return to the level of intensity it had experienced during it's older years. On the 3rd of May, 2022, the United Federation Senate held a final session, with permission from the other nations of the SPN, during which they officially voted 142-0-2 in favor of ending the Sun Prairie Nations. The two abstentions came from John Banks-George and Ainsley Wall. They also voted 143-0-1 to extend the term of Jackson Deminsky until the formal end of the SPN, with Banks-George representing the only abstention.

Article One
The United Federation Government is to be divided into two branches.The branches shall be the Council of States and the Federation Presidency.The President is to be elected through popular vote of the people, with no electoral college system whatsoever.The President shall not declare war on another nation. This shall be the Council’s decision.However, the President shall be the Supreme Commander of the Military.The President cannot make any unprovoked attacks or preemptive strikes on another nation without a formal war declaration.The President may be Impeached by the State Council if he/she brakes the aforementioned rules or commits treason against the StateArticle Two
The Council of States is to be the Legislative Branch of the Federation Government.It is to be made up of representatives from each state.New Ideas can be proposed by any state representative.For a bill to be passed, at least 51% of the State Council must approve.The Council will be the branch that can declare war.A declaration of war requires 2/3 of the Council’s Approval.A vote to Impeach the President also requires 2/3 majority.The Council is also responsible for approving the Military orders (i. e., the number of planes produced for the military).

The Flag of the United Federation is to be a 1:2 blue field, with two white concentric circles. These circles are broken at the top by a pair of brother stars, representing our two founders. At the bottom of the flag, the circles are broken again at the bottom by the letters “U.F.P.” Inside the circles shall be a pair of olive branches with a paper plane in the center.

For a state to be admitted, they must have at least one member, a flag, and a name.All other states must approve a state’s admission proposal for it to join.

All citizens are entitled to Freedom of Speech and the Press.All citizens are entitled to bear planes in a militia. The Executive Cabinet of the UFP is Hereby Expanded: Section 1: A Secretary of National Defense is hereby added, and shall be third in command of the Federation military forces, Air, Naval, and Ground. Section 2: A Secretary of the Army is likewise added. They shall have the same roles as the Secretary of the Navy, but for the Army instead. Section 3: A Secretary of the Air Force is likewise also added. They shall have the same roles as the Secretaries of the Navy and Army, but for the Air Force instead.
The State Council of the United Federation is hereby changed, whereas the High Command is re-instated, and shall be made up of the governors of the several States, and which shall be the upper house of the legislature.The State Council shall hereby confirm that they shall now elect a proportional amount of seats for the various states, based upon Federal population calculations.

The United Federation of Paper Planes, most often simply referred to as the United Federation, The Federation or offhandedly as The Fed is a Federal Republic comprised of 46 federal states, one invested Territory (Port Freeland) several Organized Territories, multiple outlying Territories, and posessing a military of a Navy, Air Force, and Army. It was founded as a Union of people interested in micronationalism and paper aircraft design on May 25th, 2017, by John Banks-George and Liam St. John.
Over the coming months it evolved into one of the foremost powers after fighting several wars with it's various challengers, before becoming the undisputed superpower of the SPN just before the outbreak of the Great Prairie War, or Prairie War I. Following that conflict, the Federation was accompanied by the Central Despan Republic and UNSC as major superpowers, and later the Federal Wisconsinite Republic following Prairie War II. After an economic depression and near-governmental collapse, Ryan Madden took control of the Federation and declared it dissolved into the 4th Reich, a fascist superstate which eventually lost Prairie War III to an alliance of the Federation's allies, and eventually, the defected democratic forces of the Federation itself. After Jackson Deminsky's election to the Presidency, the Federation recovered throughout his two terms and led an international recovery project.
The United Federation is the largest nation in the Sun Prairie Nations, and is one of the most powerful nations in the SPN. The Head of State and Government is vested in the office of the President of the Federation, and the legislative assembly is divided into two houses, the State Council performing day-to-day work and normal laws, while the upper house of the High Command has the power of amending the constitution, impeaching the President, and declaring war.
The United Federation's closest ally on the SPN Stage is the Central Despan Republic, and it maintains strong alliances with West Mendota, New Washburn, and the Deutsches Union. It is a leading member of SPATO and the Prairie Union.
Founded on May 25, 2017, and opened to anyone in the United States on June 20th of that same year, the Federation has seen many high and low points, yet has still stuck to it's unique national identity. Unlike many other Sun Prairie Nations, the Federation is not a group of similar people with the same beliefs, such as the Coalition (at it's beginning, people united by a disapproval of the Federation) or the Granache (people united by a common religion based around lakes and water). It is instead a union of friends and comrades united by common goals of Friendship, Camaraderie, and Liberty.

The Federation is Led by a President, officially the President of the United Federation of Paper Planes. The President of the UFP is elected by each and every member of the UFP by popular vote, rather than a first past-the-post system or an electoral college. The President's term lasts 3 months, and they may appoint a Vice-President and cabinet secretaries.
However, the president does not rule alone. The State Council of the Federation is made up of Representatives from each state. In addition, the High Command votes per Representative, rather than the State Council's vote by state. This is the legislative branch of the UFP. It makes all laws concerning the UFP, and it has the power to declare war on any other sovereign nation, or a rebelling state/territory.

As the first of the Sun Prairie Nations, the Federation holds to it's principles of recognition and cooperation. The Federation has formal alliances with one nation, the Republic of New Washburn, and is a member of the Prairie Union and as such is an ally of the remaining Union Member States.
HISTORY
HISTORY
The predecessor to the original Federation was the John Paper Air Force. This Government was made up of two individuals, John B. G. and Adrian Schlafer. The Air Force was originally made of simple NakLocks, Darts, and John's custom gliders. A unit named Adrian's Army was made up of origami tanks called Paper Panzers. This government was joined by Ryan Madden quickly. The three realized that this government wasn't working. They created a new government which they named the United Federation of Paper Planes. This government lasted through fifth grade. But it was 6th grade when things started going wrong. Adrian was kicked out without the permission nor support of John, the President at the time. He disbanded the Federation. But that was a mistake.
1st War
Competition was discovered, in the form of Liam St. John. John B.G. began building up a military, but with a undocumented approach to building planes. The first day of the war he brought out something big. But bigger isn't always better. John created a massive, 8 paper Naklock that suffered horribly from wing flutter and drag. Liam's Fire-Stars outdid John's 100 to 1. The war went downhill for John. The only victory in a string of losses was the design of the Gateway Spirit-class plane. But after that victory, the war began to go badly again. Until he finally found something on his shelf. An old Y-03 plane from before the original Federation. The wind hit the plane and shot it in the air. The plane glided down and into the field. That marked the end of the 1st war
2nd War
The second war began with the development of the Sparrow. It was a sturdy plane that was capable of direct competition with Liam's Fire-Stars. The first day of the second war was also the last. It was a couple weeks after the first war and the Alliance against Liam declared war on Liam and Liam forfeited when he did not want another war, and admitted that the Sparrows were a very well-flying aircraft.
United Federation
On June 20th, John B.G. and Liam St. John came together and founded the New Federation of Paper Planes, taking inspiration and learned lessons from the Old Federation. On June 22, John B.G. won a unanimous Victory for the office of President.
John's 1st Presidency

John B.G. first created a flag for the Federation, using the Starbird and Delta from the Alliance against Liam. As the flag was created, it created some controversy, as it had little to do with Liam at all, even though he was the co-founder. However, Liam actually approved of the Flag, and he voted for the flag. The Federation gained 16 members by the 25th of June, but there was one person who refused to join, despite loving paper planes and being friends with almost all of the Federation members. His name was Noah Berg, and would become a very important figure in the history of the Federation. He soon began to make his own planes, and the Federation took notice. He made several planes to challenge the Federation's Air Superiority, and after the Federation members who flew planes laughed at his failure, he ripped the Spirit of Independence, a Federation cruiser. This was an act of War, and the Federation and the Rebel Alliance went to war to over who's planes were superior. This war lasted 4 months and ended on September 4th, 2017, the same day President Ainsley Wall was sworn into office.

President Wall ran against Gnd. Adml. Ryan Madden in a two way election, that was somewhat interesting. Ryan, after learning he was losing by a lot, forfeited. Ainsley was unchallenged, so she won the Election.

After the Federation had, in continuos order, become the New Republic, PMMS Empire, Federation of Free Alliances, and the Republics of New Archton, Burke Park, and Valentino, these multiple republics all voted together to re-create the UFP.
However, corruption in the new government was rampant, so 7 states seceded from the UFP. These were New Caprica, Circles, Roman, Prairie, Burke Park, Crayonland, and Pearl. They created the United Colonies.
After the Federation fell apart, the Colonies rejoined, and re-wrote the entire Federation Constitution to a more perfect state. The Federation remains today as one of only two states to completely survive what is referred to as the Dark Times, the other being the Coalition, reformed later on.
First Order War

After reformation, John B.G. was elected as the next president of the UFP, to serve out a second term. He oversaw the ratification of the new constitution, the joining of other states, and the formation of the State Council. However, Aidan Tucker and Joshua Keller announced their secession soon after, and it was up to the State Council to decide what would happen.
Because of the two of them leaving, along with Ainsley Wall later, the Federations dangerous balance between Prairie View and Patrick Marsh was hindered. Prairie View, with the majority in the council, pushed for immediate mobilization of the Armed Forces, and ordered to fleet commanders to station as many vessels as possible in the states of Valentino and New Wisconsin, bordering the First Order.
However, those at Patrick Marsh were far more hesitant about going to war again after the experience of the United Colonies and the previous Granache War. Patrick Marsh, often even the capitol grounds themselves, were hit hardest by the war, while Prairie View watched from the sidelines.
President John B.G., who had recently made Caleb Damask the Vice-President, was fully against the war. He had previously begun immediate negotiations with the First Order for an alliance, but after the State Council voted differently, he was forced to sign the Declaration of War. He repeatedly held the State Council to revotes, enough that they forced him to stop, and he then had Caleb Damask do the same. But it had no effect, and the War continued.
Many were now looking against the War, and protests against the State Council ensued multiple times. Eventually though, the First Order collapsed under the pressure of the War, and the Federation was again at peace. At this point, President John B.G. had nearly been impeached for his efforts to stop the War, but was acquitted. Due to the unpopularity of the War, many have referred to it as the "Fed's Vietnam," and it is rarely brought up in politics.

After the First Order War, the Democratic People's Republic of Garfea was founded, as the newest nation of the Sun Prairie Nations. It was a parody of North Korea, and was based on Garfield Cat. It was headed by Luke Gainey. Before the State Council could convene, John and Luke immediately drew up a treaty for alliance, which was signed the same day. The Council Ratified the treaty the following day.
Another nation, the Republic of New Washburn, was also established around this time as a breakaway state. It also signed the alliance treaty. These three nations would remain in good relations for a long time.
March of the Nations

As a celebration of the Sun Prairie Nations, the March of the Nations, in which the UFP, North Garfea, and the Republic of New Washburn, along with the former nations of the Coalition and Weeb Nation, marched with their large flags around Patrick Marsh, singing songs like "March On" and the "Battle Cry of Freedom."
Once the march was over, the national anthems of all the nations were played in turn: New Washburn, Weeb Nation, the Coalition, North Garfea, and the UFP. This inspired tears in many present, and it was announced that the Coalition would be making a re-emergence, as another allied nation of the UFP and others. After this, John B.G. took the stage and announced the Federation's dual citizenship policy. Cheering and clapping then ensued. Afterwards, the March Continued.

Election of Carson Clumpner
Carson Clumpner succeeded his friend and mentor John as the 6th President. He championed peace, but a stable military at the same time. He defeated the Secretary of the Navy Calvin Petri in the election, by a very slim margin.
During his presidency, the Battle of Castle Rock Lake occurred, adding the Territory and later state of Castle Rock to the UFP. In addition, he personally lead the UFP Navy ship Endeavor, a large pontoon boat under the command of John B.G., in an invasion of the Nakomis Islands, and added this territory to the Federation as well. He continued to add territory, and saw the Federation through 20 states.
The Zink Era

Towards the end of Carson's Presidency, Republic of Circles, one of the Federation's states, declared independence. The nations existed peacefully for some time, until the Republic of Circles Threatened the State of Valentino. After this, the Republic declared war on the UFP, and the nation was again at war. See Also: September War
After just 4 hours of a wartime stance, the Federation had put all vessels on a Battle Order One, meaning that all ships were operating under wartime conditions, and had ordered 10 more destroyers of the Spirit-class, which would prove invaluable later in the War.
The Federation's close ally North Garfea joined the war the next day, and the Coalition and New Washburn followed soon after, creating the Alliance of Free States.
The Election in the UFP was not postponed, and as such it was won, by the popular candidate and war hero Connor Zink. He immediately laid siege to the capitol of Circles, Hunter's Ridge, and ordered a second Freedom Lance exercise.
Battle of Cardinal Heights
On the 12th of September, the Flynn Area declared independence from the UFP, and also declared war soon after. Their Fleet, with three Former Federation Ships (Bainbridge, Labrador, and Maple Glider) then readied for battle.
The Alliance fleet was a selection of the finest of the United Federation assembled for a common goal. Luke Gainey, Chairman of North Garfea, was commanding the USS Missouri, Former Presidents Carson Clumpner and Ainsley Wall (making a rare Comeback) commanding the Guam and Texas respectively, and as a part of the Three Vessel Core under the command of John B.G., was the USS Puerto Rico, the 90th vessel of it's class built for the Federation.
The fleets engaged in a short shootout, in which the Puerto Rico was very heavily damaged. As she attempted to retreat, she was focused down by the enemy and was her tail fin was knocked into an unrecognizable state.
After this, a peace treaty was signed, giving independence to Flynnland, and re-annexation of Circles into the Federation.
The Federation's new Vice-President, James Duval, had amassed a large portion of territory, including all of the former Coalition of the North, and thus, we was under pressure from the government to share the wealth of resources with the other states.
This caused Jacob Eiden, the Governor and Senator for Burke Park, to declare independence. Because of the Vast resources of the State, the Federation declared war to get it back, and because of this unwarranted move, the State of ThatOneLonelyBoi of James Duval (sometimes called Duvalia) declared independence as well. This caused the State of Meowtopia to declare independence and join Duvalia. The Federation declared war on all of the new nations, and thus the war had begun.See Also: Federation Civil War
The Federation laid siege to Burke Park, and it's cannons rained down on the tiny capitol. However, after a week of siege, the Government of Burke Park, upon learning that Duval had left, rejoined the Federation.
Meanwhile, at Cardinal Heights, the Air Forces of the Federation and the Meowtopia-Duvalia alliance battled it out in the sky. The Battle was eventually won, and Meowtopia was re-annexed as a protectorate. It later regained statehood. Duvalia was eventually retaken from the remaining enemy forces. Duval was removed as Vice President.
After this, the Midnight Republic and Salamandastron were founded. In addition, the small nation of Cuugae became independent, and it became a neutral nation.
Soon after, the Republic of Despa was formed by Alex Oehrline, and declared war on the Federation. Soon after, the Midnight Republic declared it's allegiance with them, forming an alliance. The war went on until the culmination of the war, at Eastside, held by the Midnight Republic, and the home of the Original Federation.
The United Federation Marine Corps attacked the compound at Eastside, which was defended by the mercenary friends of Midnight Republic President Ainsley Wall. The Federation forces came out victorious, and the Midnight Republic pulled out of the War. The end of the war was seen to be fast approaching, so the M.R. and Despa surrendered. In the treaty, it was decided that the M.R. and Despa would become one country, in a confederated state style.See Also: Midnight Republic of Despa
Soon after, Burke Park gained it's independence and joined the MRD, as did Salamandastron and Meowtopia. This made president Zink extremely nervous, as the MRD now seemed as though it was trying to surround the Federation.
It was later discovered that the Midnight Republic of Despa was planning an Invasion of the Federation, New Washburn, and Flynnland, despite none of the other nations being allied with the UFP. In defense of the Neutral States, the Federation declared war on the MRD, and president Zink once again led the Federation to a victory over the MRD after it suffered multiple internal Coups and the loss of a large portion of it's fleet.
At the End of this war, the United Federation was in a state of extreme economic struggle. The wars had cost the Government multiple thousands of millions in Federation dollars, and the Federation Fleet was at a level of barely 100 aircraft. However, Connor Zink failed to recognize the Situation, and focused on the Fleet. He pumped the remaining budget into the old Lexington and Spirit-class Aircraft. By the end of his term, he had won 5 wars, thrived under pressure, but failed to support the economy, leaving 3 entire states bankrupt. In addition, the MRD had broken up and become the Republic of Despa and Dauntless.

President Zink, after the success of his Wartime Victories, sought a second term for president. However, due to his unpopular wartime policies, he lost in a landslide to Nicholas Lapord, former Vice President and Commodore of the Fleet. Immediately, he reversed policy. He began a campaign to modernize and replace the Federation's aging fleet. By the end of his presidency, the fleet would number over 400, all modern and capable.
About halfway through Lapord's presidency, the S.S. Mexico Star, an unarmed freighter, was captured and destroyed by the so-called Monday Rebellion. The Federation, along with Despa and the Republic of New Washburn began a military campaign against the Rebellion. A joint task force of the Despan Airfleet and the Federation Starfleet joined over Cardinal heights, and after tracing the Rebel forces, engaged. The USS George H.W. Bush was heavily hit during the attack, and eventually was declared unfit for service. However, the battle was a tactical victory, leading to the rebellion being pushed further back.
However, President Lapord devised a solution to the war. He declared the Federation was disbanded, giving the victory to the Rebellion, or at least making them think that was the case. However, the Federation reformed one day later, and steamrolled the remaining forces. By the end of Nicholas Lapord's term, he was considered by most, including John Banks-George, to be the Federation's Greatest president.

After the campaign for the next election kicked off, Christopher Fallis, a relative outsider, who had only been a short-lived VP and a two month senator for New Canada (the colony), declared his running for the presidency. He and Nicholas Lapord had a tough campaign, and in the end the vote was only 1.9% in majority for Chris Fallis. The final result was decided by the State of Pearl, which shifted at the last minute to Fallis.
During the first portion of his presidency, Chris Fallis continued many of President Lapord's policies, in order to continue with the prosperity that was being experienced. However, after one month, on the 27th of March, the nations of North Garfea, Nermals Swedish Expanse, and the Flynjnipinnes declared war on the United Federation. Immediately, all military forces were mobilized, and an emergency session of the State Council declared war immediately. However, ground was being lost at an unbelievable rate, as the military machine of the now-called Broalition pushed up through Centralia, across the Isthmus of Madison, and south into New Alaska and Mervonia.
The Republic of Crimson Dusk was the first nation to declare it's alliance with the Federation, followed by the Republic of Valentino, Despa, and Dauntless. Liam St. John, the Anti-Fed Forces, UNSC, and the Republic of Connor joined the war on the Side of Broalition, against the Union Forces. Despite being outnumbered by a ratio of 3 to 2, the Union Forces managed to win Stunning victories at the first and second battles of Drive Island, causing a retreat by the UNSC and North Garfea from Centralia. The Isthmus was retaken, and the UNSC dropped out of the War. The Flynjnipinnes had been pushed back to their own territory and capitulated as well. However, the war was far from over.
With the Federation suffering staggering losses, the First Fleet was assigned to be the last forward deployed Federation Fleet for a short time, as the remainder of the fleet recouped their losses. However, as the Garfean, Nermal, Connor, and Antifed Forces all began to gather in an attempt to push back the Union Forces at E House, The Federation, after much deliberation, committed all of it's forces remaining to the final battle, with the Republic of Despa sending over 75% of their battle fleet to assist, and Crimson Dusk, Dauntless,Valentino and the newly formed Federal Wisconsinite Republic all committed their remaining vessels. Still outnumbered, the Union Forces moved in for an assault. The Final battle would then, take place at E House.
The Battle of E House was the largest ever battle to ever take place in the History of the Sun Prairie Nations, with over 600 aircraft participating, and almost all nations having forces present. The battle initially started poorly for the Union, but Admiral John Banks-George and Despan Commander Alex Oherline used their ships to push through the Broalition's lines, and the Broalition sustained major losses. As the Union gained the advantage, the USS Enterprise was slammed with a hit from the Broalition Flagship, but was able to continue fighting. It was decommissioned later that month because of the damage. The Broalition finally fell back and gave in with a total capitulation of the remaining nations.
The Treaty of Burnuckle's Law led to the territory of North Garfea and Nermal's Swedish Expanse to be completely divided up. The remaining nations had to pay major fees in reparations. By the end of the War, the Federation's economy had tanked hard, as it had taken most of the major blows at the start of the War. However, it had shown that despite doubts, Chris Fallis and his VP Ethan Moehr were able to lead the Federation to victory. After this war, the Republic of Valentino and Despa passed the Fed in economic standings.

After the war, Jacob Eiden announced his running for president, and after an eventful campaign, in which Jacob Monday was accidentally declared the winner, an then the absentee ballots changed the result, Jacob Eiden was sworn in as the President of the Federation.
After this, Jacob Eiden signed into legislation only two acts, a demilitarization act and a nuclear reduction act. After this, he seemed to just stop acting as the President, which was partially influenced by the long period of peace from the Great Prairie War. During his presidency, the occupied sections after the war on the Mendotan Coast united to become the West Mendotan Republic, with Jacob Monday as the president.

Another election rolled around in July, with Ryan Madden winning the election. However, while Jacob Eiden was still President, he resigned prematurely out of fear of the responsibility of the office.
The Prairie Union

Just before the Madden Resignation, the Federation, along with Dauntless, Crimson Dusk, the UNSC,New Washburn, and the FWR unified in a multinational organization called the Prairie Union. The Prairie Union gained Radtopia and the West Mendotan Republic as members as well. The Prairie Union was also the single biggest reason that the Federation was able to weather the economic crash from Madden's resignation. In addition, it gained huge swathes of land from the Dissolution of the Republic of Despa, and it was distributed between the Union Members. With a looming crisis, John B.G. (Ryan's VP) selected Addison Boott, the third in Command, to take the office of President.

Addison Boott first stabilized the economy of the Federation, and worked with the leaders of the Prairie Union's other members in order to tighten the bonds in the Union. President Boott also worked to repeal the military disarmament act. She was able to miraculously increase economic growth despite the resignation of Ryan Madden, and also was able to build several new vessels for the Federation Fleet. On October 3rd she started a Snap Election, fearing that she would be seen as an illegitimate president. She was the last President of the Republicats Party.

Andrew Anderson was elected by a 3 point margin as the 12th President of the Federation. He started his term by increasing the military budget, a move that became an important one later in his tenure. He also ended the fruitless 3rd Despa War, leading to a peace treaty and even an alliance which would also later become vital. He changed the flagship of the Federation to the USS Winston Churchill, and worked across the isle to help foster cooperation between the parties.
However, two weeks into his term, the Second Great Prairie War broke out. The Federation was caught off guard by the war, with a majority of it's battle fleet in repair yards. Taking the Fleet to Battle Order 1, President Anderson immediately convened the State Council to declare war on the Catxis Powers. Despite the brave fighting of the horrifically outnumbered Federation Battle Fleet, the Federation lost massive swaths of land in the south, and the Allies lost in the Battle of the East Hill, but were able to make the Catxis Powers dig in in the south.
By working with the C.D.R., F.W.R., West Mendota, and Crimson Dusk, President Anderson was able to successfully initiate Operation Gilded Dove, the joint allied assault on Grand Meowtopia. In one afternoon, the Federation had managed to turn the tide and later was able to take the nation out. Turning south, Operation Freedom's Wave successfully liberated Meowtopia and Nickeragua.
The UNSC then pushed through the south of the United Federation, and eventually up into the north. The UNSC occupied the Federation for a short few days, but eventually the Allies pushed them back. After a week-long stalemate, the Federation and her allies launched a massive invasion into the UNSC, and the Catxis Powers had to surrender to the United Federation. The war ended with the signing of the Treaty of Fitchburg, which changed many rules of warfare in order to help make the SPN combat less drastic and all-consuming.
Following the war, the Federation re-founded SPATO with Despa, and the two grew even closer together, re-affirming their special relationship alliance. The Federation participated in the SPATO fleet deployment during the Centralia Canal Crisis. After this the Federation increased ties with the West Mendotan Republic and the newly re-made Deutsches Union.

Following the war, Calvin Petri of the Union Party became the first president to be elected following a same-party President. He inherited the Centralia Canal Crisis, and was able to successfully resolve the situation and began to attempt to cool the tensions between the two countries. He focused heavily on ensuring peace, with things such as the Schwartzy Plan to rebuild the nations effected by the war and naval re-armament to ensure that there could not be another defeat like the 1st Battle of Lake Waubesa.
Calvin Petri's Presidency saw a major change in the Federation, with a shift in the Union Party to more centrist than liberal, the Democats shifting further to the left, the Pacifist Re-organization which changed the party into a Chrisitian-Democrat Party, and the foundation of the new Federalist Party, which was later re-named the Conservative Party, a centre-right party. Petri ended his term with a relatively high approval rating, but some wished he would have done more during his time.

The former two-time Vice-President, and the first President of the Pacifist Party, Jacob Monday had long had presidential ambitions, and following Calvin Petri opting not to run for a second term, Monday became the obvious choice. However, he faced an unexpectedly tall challenge from Caden Schwartz, the Conservative from Arstotzka and President of the F.W.R. In the election, Schwartz presented a major challenge against Monday, even flipping several states that were expected to go to Monday. However, several factors, including the selection of a running mate from Meowtopia, swung the election in the favor of Jacob Monday, as he carried around 56% of the vote.
Throughout Monday's presidency, the Federation saw some economic growth, as the recovery from war had begun to truly take hold, and many new ships were commissioned into the Fleet. Monday also instituted several major laws regarding new businesses and de-regulation, including the BID Act, which almost entirely changed the way small businesses were operated in the Federation. This act was very controversial at the time, so much so that the Conservatives filibustered the bill for a week, the first such filibuster in Federation History.
In addition, the United Federation Military gained a new branch, the Federation Space Force. This bill was, in fact, broadly popular and deemed necessary as many could foresee the potential space competition.

The next election resulted in the election of one of the most influential Presidents in the Federation's History, Caden A. Schwartz. Schwartz was previously the President of the Federal Wisconsinite Republic, and the creator of the Conservative Party. His rise to power in a landslide defeat of the Union Party was seen as a massive shift in the balance of power, and was a signal of the newfound strength of the Conservative Movement, which for many months had been a minor player within the Federation. Though Jacob Monday was a self-identified Christian Democrat, and his party was very mildly right-wing, Caden Schwartz was the first true Conservative.
His first few weeks in the office were slow, though he did make more steps for increased military spending. However, in his second month he truly began to branch off, working in the Prairie Union's bureaucracy to create the Prairie Union Space Agency, and ordered the construction of the Prairie Union Space Shuttle, and his first term saw the launch of Challenger in SLST-01 for the first launch of the Shuttle. He also oversaw the creation of the Prairie Union Space Station Program, and oversaw several of the modules launched for it.
In domestic policy, he continued to increase military spending, and implemented a cautious, though not necessarily hostile, policy for the New UNSC, and frequently spoke out against communist re-emergence as a potential threat if it became serious. He also passed an executive order which re-organized the State Militias into the United Federation National Guard.
Schwartz won re-election in a major upset, breaking the one-term tradition in Presidential Politics, becoming the first President since Ainsley Wall to win a second consecutive term, and the first since John Banks-George's second term in 2018. However, the Conservative Party did lose a large number of seats in the election, losing it's majority status in the State Council, being forced to make a coalition with the Union and Pacifist Parties against the Democats and Defenders. His second term was relatively relaxed, with the final launch of the Prairie Union Space Agency for the year 2020 being during this time, and the economy remained in growth.
Schwartz also spearheaded a coalition intervention into the Republic of Crimson Dusk, in which the Federation, the FWR, West Mendota, and Manitowoc invaded the failing Crimson Dusk to ensure stability. A referendum in the former nation was held which resulted in Statehood for the former nation. Shortly after, West Mendota itself joined the Federation, which added an even larger boost for the Federation's national economy.
The end of his Presidency saw a controversial article in his time in office, as he was sued by the State of New Illinois for attempting to run for a third term. This case in the Supreme Court, which was adjudicated by Chief Justice Tucker, resulted in the upholding of the 2-term rule from the Old Constitution, the use for the Old Constitution in cases where the New does not expressly overrule it, and the prevention of Schwartz seeking a third term. He instead endorsed his Vice-President, Jackson Nesbit, as his successor.

Foldhazi and "the Recess"
Instead of a Conservative Dynasty like Schwartz had hoped, instead, Nesbit was soundly defeated, along with Union nominee Jackson Deminsky, by a newly-resurgent Rydon Foldhazi, and his Defender Party, which had won major power in the Senate in Schwartz's second re-election and had increased them in the Mid-Term Realignments. Under Foldhazi's leadership, his party had managed to overcome Schwartz's presidential authority and form a voting caucus with the Union Party to officially change the system of the Federation's Elections, in the cases of 3 or more candidates, from First-past-the-post to Ranked Choice.
As President, however, Foldhazi's term was defined by the seemingly total collapse of the entire SPN, which had by now, been plagued by disinterest and uniformity for too long a time. Despite his personal popularity, and majority in the State Council, Foldhazi did not introduce any legislation throughout both of his terms, a seemingly perfect expression of The Recess and it's accompanying disinterest.

After 6 months of The Recess, the people of the Federation chose Ethan Flood in a landslide election, returning the Union Party to the Presidency after 15 months and President Calvin Petri. The cause of the Union party's sudden popularity is debated, and it is also difficult to say for certain, as, though there was a noticeable increase in voter turnout from the last two elections, it was still much lower than elections under Schwartz, Monday, and Petri. However, the conventional explaination is a combination of Flood's personal popularity, his experience as Governor during the Zink Recession, and the Union Party's reputation as the party that led the Federation through some of it's darkest hours.
For most of Flood's term, it seemed that the trends of the Recess would stay the same, but noticeably, the disinterest and economic struggles began to trickle away, and with the start of the October 2021 Election, it was clear that the SPN was, though slowly, coming back.
Despite a 70% approval rating and the support of his party, Flood ultimately decided not to run for a third term, instead passing on the duties to his party's chairman and ally, Alexander Knebel.

The Ascension of Alexander Knebel to the Office of President seemed to many to be the beginning an era of decision - if the Sun Prairie Nations would continue at all, or if they would end despite the progress made. Instead, the Decision was made before Knebel even took office, as the Central Despan Republic, Federal Wisconsinite Republic, Republic of Valentino, Kingdom of Pyrrhia, Alpine Union, and United Manonan States all, simultaneously, began military buildups as a result of rising tensions between the F.W.R. and Valentino, a story repeating itself for the largest time yet.
Knebel, a political ally of the F.W.R and specifically it's President, (and his own running mate) Caden Schwartz, announced, before he was sworn in, that he intended to pull the United Federation out of the Valentino Treaty, a Foldhazi-era Treaty which guaranteed mutual defense between the two nations in lieu of Valentino joining SPATO after the Valentino Pact collapsed. This caused a major breakup of ties between the United Manonan States and the United Northern Nations, which both eventually left SPATO and founded, with Valentino, the Greenbush Treaty Organization.
The removal of the Valentino-Treaty was only the start however, as immediately after the announcement of this at the post-inaugural conference, he also announced the Federation would be leaving SPATO, effectively disbanding what is left of the alliance. Schwartz, recently inaugurated as VP, then resigned, leaving Ryan Madden of another resignation's fame to take up the position.
This kickstarted the November Crisis in which the Federal Wisconsinite Republic briefly declared war against the Federation as a result of either (or perhaps, a combination of) fear of the inconsistency and sudden isolationism of the United Federation's Government or seeing in opportunity therein. However, this declaration was rescinded shortly.
This crisis, now called the November Crisis, is widely seen as the moment that the theoretical military strategies and resultant buildups ended, and the concrete conflicts of what would become the Third Great Prairie War began. The United Federation, with Alex Knebel now repairing his relationship with Schwartz, sold him, personally, the lands of Ft. Atkinson and parts of Koshkonong Sea.
On the 4th of November, 2021, at 12:00, the Holy Roman Empire, formed in the Ft. Atkinson Land which was sold to Schwartz, was declared, and at 12:05 United Federation Standard Time, Schwartz declared war on the Central Despan Republic, Kingdom of Pyrrhia, and the Alpine Union. Knebel, rather than wait for a declaration of war from the High Command and State Council, instead dissolved both branches of the Senate, and officially took dictatorial powers over the Federation Government.
In the wake of this event, there began a mass exodus of people and material from the United Federation, especially from states like New Illinois and the Rust Belt region. The Imperial War, in fact, turned out to be essentially a white peace - a pointless, expensive white peace.

Alex Knebel resigned in the wake of this massive failure, leaving Ryan Madden to take over. At first, Madden made concerted attempts to make a lasting peace with other countries, especially the United Manonan States due to his long-standing relationship with Manonan Leader and Founder of the UFP John Banks-George.
When the West Mendotan Republic proposed a "peace plan" which would have seen the Federation's military reduced by treaty and enforced by West Mendotan Troops, Madden refused, prompting further tensions with West Mendota. He attempted to make up for this by hosting a War Crimes trial of the Holy Roman Empire, but West Mendota as well as Despa were further upset when Schwartz was allowed to return to the F.W.R.
Alex Knebel, perhaps sensing an opportunity to force Madden out too, or perhaps acting on behalf of his own ambition, declared his state's secession from the Federation and a new "Circles Republic." Madden responded by using 13 nuclear warheads in a concentrated bombardment of the territory and military assets of the Circles Republic. This act drew widespread condemnation from members of the international community, before the United Manonan States and the Federal Wisconsinite Republic declared war on the United Federation, which would shortly be re-named the Imperial 4th Reich and democracy in the territory would be dissolved.
In the ensuing Prairie War III, the Reich would make serious territorial gains using Federation Military superiority in tactics and equipment, but without the aid of major corporations which had left, the invasions were stalled after taking the F.W.R. mainland. The Manonan Navy, in particular, was key in it's role of delaying and then halting the advance.
In the Allied Council, which eventually included every member of the SPN outside the Reich, a Federation Government-in-exile would be created by defectors and escapees, which would eventually be headed by Lydia Guilford as the 20th President. Guilford, an artist by trade, would be the first Independent since Conner Zink to win an election. Guilford's administration is largely creditted with leading the Federation through one of it's darkest hours, and for a number of symbolic victories, including the Federation Troops landing first during Operation Downfall, these same troops being the first to enter the Capital, and though it was not planned, the photograph of the Federation Flag being hoisted on Mt. Feldanachi, overlooking the Patrick Marsh Building where the Federation was born.

When the war ended, Guilford helped oversee the beginning of the Occupation of the Federation and the start of a reorganization and naval rearmament of the United Federation. However, most of these tasks would be taken up by Vice-President and successor, Jackson Deminsky.
In both contemperous and historical consideration, the United Federation is considered to be a member of the Allied Powers throughout the majority of the war, though it is highly debated as to what place the government of the Federation played in the start of the war, as well as the war's initial course. There has been additional, significant debate as to the role of the Federation Military Forces and the average soldier in the war. The Federation Government has assumed full responsibility for the start of the war, but remains unresolved in the field of guilt for War Crimes committed under Ryan Madden's regime.
It is most frequently argued that because Madden was the recognized leader of the United Federation, and that he declared it to be disbanded and assumed the name of the Reich - as opposed to retaining the same legal standing - that the Reich and the Federation are seperate entities occupying similar territories. The use of Federation military equipment and tradition has caused some dispute as to the legitimacy of this assertion, though it remains the near-universal one in historical and civilian circles.

Deminsky was a unique figure in Federation Politics, being a member of almost every major political party in the Federation; The Republicats, the Pacifists, the Democats, and the Union Party. Additionally, he had been the 4th and Final Prime Minister of the Coalition of the North so long ago and one of the leaders of the Patrick Marsh Empire before he founded the State of Kekistan and served as it's legacy senator. During Prairie War III, he escaped the Reich and joined the Government-in-exile, before being appointed Vice-President by Lydia Guilford. Under that guise, he delivered one of the most famous addresses of the war, and of the Federation itself, the "Plea of Defection;"
You may think yourselves better than our opponent, but there you stand: the good men doing nothing. And while the enemy of civilization triumphs, and our rigid pacifism crumbles into dust, the only victory afforded to you is that you stuck true to our guns. Those who failed to rise were cowards to your last whimper, never taking the steps needed to ensure true peace. In this war, I fear not that I will die, but that all I have come to love and respect about this nation will perish with me.
While it cannot be quantitatively determined, it is widely believed that this was the primary driver of the mass defections in coming weeks by the Imperial Navy and Army, as well as a number of Starfleet Vessels and their crews.
For Operation Downfall, Deminsky was appointed Supreme Commander of Allied Expeditionary Forces, and himself landed with the first wave of Federation troops at Luna Beach. His direction of troops there and general presence is considered one of the finest examples of military command in the War. He would later oversee the landings on Isla Rando and would be present for the famous photograph mentioned above.
With occupation and reconstruction in process, Deminsky founded the Alliance Party, ending his relationship with the Union Party, as the reputational damage to both the Union and Conservatives were seen by him, and the general public, to be far too much to repair. Deminsky nominated Madeline Caro as his Vice-President, and together the two won a landslide 71% of the Vote, seen as a perfect manifestation of Deminsky's personal popularity and the need for a change in government.
As President he oversaw the passage of the Fascism Prevention Act, a proposal by his Vice-President Maddie Caro, along with the ratification of the International Committee and the Treaty on Nuclear Disarmament by his administration and party. These were the first major internal administrative actions since the Schwartz Administration, and by far the most far-reaching adjustments to governmental recognition of Rights since the Eiden Administration.
By this point, however, it was clear that the SPN in general would never again return to the level of intensity it had experienced during it's older years. On the 3rd of May, 2022, the United Federation Senate held a final session, with permission from the other nations of the SPN, during which they officially voted 142-0-2 in favor of ending the Sun Prairie Nations. The two abstentions came from John Banks-George and Ainsley Wall. They also voted 143-0-1 to extend the term of Jackson Deminsky, with Banks-George

Article One
The United Federation Government is to be divided into two branches.The branches shall be the Council of States and the Federation Presidency.The President is to be elected through popular vote of the people, with no electoral college system whatsoever.The President shall not declare war on another nation. This shall be the Council’s decision.However, the President shall be the Supreme Commander of the Military.The President cannot make any unprovoked attacks or preemptive strikes on another nation without a formal war declaration.The President may be Impeached by the State Council if he/she brakes the aforementioned rules or commits treason against the StateArticle Two
The Council of States is to be the Legislative Branch of the Federation Government.It is to be made up of representatives from each state.New Ideas can be proposed by any state representative.For a bill to be passed, at least 51% of the State Council must approve.The Council will be the branch that can declare war.A declaration of war requires 2/3 of the Council’s Approval.A vote to Impeach the President also requires 2/3 majority.The Council is also responsible for approving the Military orders (i. e., the number of planes produced for the military).

In the event of someone commiting a crime, they are regarded as innocent until proven guilty.The Council is to vote on this person’s punishment after hearing both side’s arguments.
Article Four
The United Federation Air Force is to always keep in operation a minimum of 15 aircraft.The United Federation is to always keep in operation at least 1 Aircraft Carrier.All Naval and Air Force vessels shall have the prefix “U.S.S.” or occasionally, “U.F.N.S.,” meaning “United Federation Navy Ship.”All Air Force vessels are to be given a registry number, starting with “NCC,” which stands for “Numbered Cruiser Class.”
Article Five
The Flag of the United Federation is to be a 1:2 blue field, with two white concentric circles. These circles are broken at the top by a pair of brother stars, representing our two founders. At the bottom of the flag, the circles are broken again at the bottom by the letters “U.F.P.” Inside the circles shall be a pair of olive branches with a paper plane in the center.
Article Six
For a state to be admitted, they must have at least one member, a flag, and a name.All other states must approve a state’s admission proposal for it to join.
Amendments:
All citizens are entitled to Freedom of Speech and the Press.All citizens are entitled to bear planes in a militia. No planes shall be forced into a non-military base.All citizens are entitled to a fair warrant before arrest.All citizens have the right to remain silent and not answer any questions they wish not to.Any citizen of the United Federation may, without fear of reprisal, join, and be involved with, another nation.
The Executive Cabinet of the UFP is Hereby Expanded: Section 1: A Secretary of National Defense is hereby added, and shall be third in command of the Federation military forces, Air, Naval, and Ground. Section 2: A Secretary of the Army is likewise added. They shall have the same roles as the Secretary of the Navy, but for the Army instead. Section 3: A Secretary of the Air Force is likewise also added. They shall have the same roles as the Secretaries of the Navy and Army, but for the Air Force instead.
The State Council of the United Federation is hereby changed, whereas the High Command is re-instated, and shall be made up of the governors of the several States, and which shall be the upper house of the legislature.The State Council shall hereby confirm that they shall now elect a proportional amount of seats for the various states, based upon Federal population calculations.
