Page numbering

Pages previous to the main text (abstract, acknowledgments, index, ext.) have to be numbered with roman numbers, on the bottom centered or right-aligned, starting from the cover sheet. Then, the thesis main text must be numbered in a continuous sequence using Arab numbering, starting in 1, on the bottom, center- or right-aligned.
