Re-embodiment - After his death during the Fall of Gondolin, Ecthelion waits in the Halls of Mandos. For a while, he is content to simply dwell within those halls to heal, but the Valar have different plans for the once great Lord of the Fountain, slayer of Gothmog. He is re-embodied and returned to the peoples of Middle Earth, around the time of the One Ring’s re-emergence. 

First Age - prior to the Fall of Gondolin, during his reign as the Lord of the Fountain. 

RWBY - A Huntsman, and leader of a cohort of Huntsmen and Huntresses called the Silver Fountain. His Semblance is called Enhearten; with the power of his voice and his flute, he can bestow added strength to his comrades, and speed up the healing of wounds as well. In this verse, he is the lover of Glorfindel, a graduate of Mistral Academy, and a well respected leader known for his wisdom and sense of unshakable calm even in the midst of battle.
