He Wuqiang is a very slender figure wearing light blue-gray robes. A sheer blue scarf hangs about his arms. His hair is very long, fine and an almost transparent white, described as being like spider-silk. He has ruby red eyes set in a pale white face, and half of his face is obscured by a blue jeweled mask. Long, skeletal fingers end in dark gray fingertips. 

This dark spirit often comes across as playful, speaking in a melodic voice that is both soft and amiable, though it typically contrasts deeply with his often vitriolic words. Moved by vengeance for his untimely death, he seems to particularly hate those who consider themselves most righteous, and wishes to ruin those who see themselves as pure. He takes an active interest in cultivators with dark potential, and becomes quickly attached to them. The matters of life or death matter very little to him, and he frequently and violently kills those who serve him with little regard for their loyalty. 

Little is known of He Wuqiang other than his name, which he offers with little sincerity. His hatred for proper cultivators seems to stem from a betrayal that ended in his death, leading him to seek vengeance against anyone who views the world in terms of Good and Evil. In life, He Wuqiang was a cultivator himself, though the destruction of his own golden core by unknown means and his own rage locked him outside the cycle of reincarnation, forcing him to wander the world as a vicious ghost.
