📝 Project Synopsis:
This study investigates the role of genetic polymorphisms in the ( TP53 rs1048943 & ABCB1 rs1042522) genes in lung cancer susceptibility among smokers and non-smokers in Bangladesh.
By analyzing blood samples collected from lung cancer patients and healthy controls, the research employs advanced molecular biology techniques such as DNA extraction, PCR, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis, and sequence analysis via CLC Seq Viewer to uncover potential gene-environment interactions.
The goal is to provide insights into the genetic risk factors associated with lung cancer, aiding in early detection, targeted therapies, and the development of public health strategies for prevention in environmentally at-risk populations.
