Fan Club

With the huge popularity of "Fame" in the U.K., The Official Fame Magazine set up the Fame Fan Club in January 1983. Stacey Weston was the secretary and she had her own page in the Magaine each month.

For the price of £3.50 which covered a years membership, members would receive a black and red fan club wallet. This came with a black and red membership card, 8 black and white photos, a badge, a poster and a replica day out of days sheet.

In addition, quarterly newsletters were sent out along with an additional badge and a special Christmas card. Members had to write in with a Stamp, Addressed Envelope to receive these additional items.

The Fan Club ran for just over a year and it closed in March 1984, when the Fame magazine also came to an end.
