Beeb - The BBC Junior Television Magazine was an attempt to launch a comic that would grab the Look-In market for the BBC. It was launched at the start of 1985 by the BBC and Polystyle Publications.

Just like Look in which featured ITV programmes, Beeb featured articles and comic strips based on BBC shows, both homegrown and imported from overseas.

However, it failed to live up to Look In and it only lasted 20 issues, starting on 29th January 1985 and with the final issue dated 11th June 1985. There was no announcement in the last issue, or any resolution to the ongoing comic serials.

Fame was airing it's 4th series on BBC12 at this time and an article appeared in the 7th May 1985 issue.
