The opening titles for the 4th season, despite following the same format of the previous seasons felt very new as 25 new clips were added not only from Season 3 but also from the first three episodes of season 4 too. Many of the Season 4 clips were filmed outside and using a slightly smaller font for the writing made everything look fresher.

Also Debbie Allen filmed a new "You Want Fame..." sequence especially for these titles.
Pictures of Erica Gimpel were finally removed along with Lee Curreri. Nia Peeples, Janet Jackson and Jesse Borrego were added. Also Ann Nelson was finally added to the cast in episode 3. It's odd that the first 2 episodes she is just a guest star.

Nia Peeples has a different picture for the first 2 episodes and there is an additional picture of Nicole taken from "Young Heroes" which is removed when Ann Nelson is added to the titles. Also the logo, certainly in my copy is different in the first 2 episodes.

The font used for actors names and production credits has been changed slightly. Gone is Casad-Serial-ExtraBold Regular and instead they use Columbia Serial Xbold.
