Kindergarten Registration
Do you have a child starting kindergarten this fall? Have you told us already? If not, please complete areas below and email to deborah.vanwaardhuizen@dmschools.org
In April, the district will hold their Kindergarten Sign-Up Day. With that in mind, we want to find out if our families have a younger sibling who will start Kindergarten in August.
If you intend to enroll a child for Kindergarten, please respond to this email with the following information.

Inclement Weather Make Up Days
We had 2 additional makeup days built into our schedule this school year, so at this point we will only need to make up 1 school day.
We will NOT be joining our District in eliminating early out Wednesdays and will continue our schedule as originally planned.
Our 1 makeup day at this point will be Thursday, April 18th.
PTA Meeting
March 11th - 5 PM - Downtown School Library
Special presentation from Mr. Burnett on extra curricular activities as well as some tips and tricks on structuring your kids lives for them to reach their fullest potential.
The Downtown School Auction
Every other year, The Downtown School puts on an Auction for various products/services that our community has a connection to. This is by far our largest fundraiser! Our auction will be on April 12 at West End Salvage. In the meantime, we would LOVE if you could help us begin compiling the list of possible items/services to be auctioned off. Be thinking of a special experience you could provide another family, any connections to businesses that might want to donate something, or any other service or item that you think could bring in to generate some auction action!
