Reading buddies is an after school program that provides students with reading and writing activities. Bridge the Gap provides educational, social and emotional resources to underserved students in Marin City. My job at reading buddies is to keep track of the students progress in learning how to read by testing out simple words to the students and practicing the words students don't know on flash cards. Once the students has read out loud all the site words, we read a few books together.
