History of the department of management
The Department of Management and Law was created at the BNAU Faculty of Economics in October 1996, in accordance with the University Rector’s Order No. 138/0 by means of separating it from the Department of Agricultural Production Arrangement and Management. A candidate of economic sciences, associate professor M.V. Vykhor was appointed as a head of the department. During the twenty-year period, the department underwent a number of transformations. In 2001, the department of law was separated from the department, in 2006 - the department of pedagogy and psychology, in 2007 - the department of marketing and financial and commercial management.
From 2012 till 2014, the department was headed by the Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine, Honored Worker of the Agriculture of Ukraine, Honors in Education, Deputy of Kyiv Regional Council, A. S. Danylenko.
In 2014, a candidate of economic science, associate professor A. M. Hura was appointed as a head of the department, in 2016 – a doctor of economic science, associate professor L. M. Satyr. Exactly in 2016 that the department received a new name - " of management and public administration". Since July 2017, the department has been headed by the Doctor of Economic Science, Professor Y. S. Grynchuk, and the department has returned to its previous name – the "Department of Management".
Today, the Department of Management is a professional, friendly team that unites a Doctor of Economic Science, Professor Yu. S. Grynchuk; five candidates of science, associate professors - M. V. Vykhor, O. I. Shemigon, N. V. Koval, L. P. Khakhula, V. A. Bybu; Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor D. M. Utechenko; Doctor of Philosophy B. V. Khakhula and PhD candidate M. V. Rudenko, who are working on improving of the educational programs, creating textbooks, training manuals and methodological recommendations that will contribute to high-quality training for classes and formation of professional competencies of the future managers.
In spacious classrooms the students - managers master the details of management science. And they have someone to look up to. Six scientific and pedagogical staff of the department are graduates of the Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University!
We are proud of our graduates successfully working in management positions in various sectors of the economy, contributing to the improvement of the quality of life in our state.
Today, the main task of the department's staff is to train highly qualified managers who have deep knowledge, are able to think systematically and innovatively, and make effective decisions in terms of variability and uncertainty of the market environment.
