History of department of entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activity
New specialty 076 "Entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activity" was opened at the economic faculty of Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University in 2016 due to ever-increasing market demands for the training of economic specialists.
Department of Entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activity was established according to rector's order No. 98/0 dated May 29, 2017 as a result of reorganizing the department of Enterprise Economics.
Since October 2017, the department has been headed by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Larysa Satyr.
Today the scientific and pedagogical staff of the department includes 7 teachers, in particular: 1 doctor of economic sciences, professor, 5 candidates of economic sciences, associate professors and 1 assistant teacher.
The department's mission is to train highly qualified specialists who have general and special competencies necessary to effectively solve tasks of innovative development in the field of entrepreneurship, trade, and exchange activity.
Bachelor and Master educational programs are focused on the thorough training of modern professionals capable to found and conduct their own business as well as to implement entrepreneurial initiatives in existing enterprises, in particular, in the field of agribusiness, on the basis of sustainable production of environmentally safe and useful products in conditions of rapid technological development and adverse climate changes.
Graduates of the department can work as managers of agricultural, industrial, commercial, IT enterprises, customs-logistics, investment-consulting firms, organizations of various forms of ownership; be specialists in leading Ukrainian and foreign companies, or successfully start their own business.
During their studies, students have the opportunities to:
study abroad and obtain a double diploma on the basis of student international mobility;
participate in scientific and research work of the department;
have an interesting and useful free time via participating in university’s art student groups, sports sections, etc.;
accommodate in university dormitories.
