Disciplines of the department of management
Specialists in the field of 073 Management have been trained in accordance with the educational programs of the first (bachelor’s), second (master’s) and third (academic) levels of higher education.
The department prepares specialists in accordance with the academic program for training in the third (academic) higher education level in the specialty 073, Management (Program guarantor - Doctor of Economics, Professor I. M. Paska). Academic program is logical completion of the formed vertical of higher economic and management education at the Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University. The program target is to train highly qualified specialists with the Ph. D degree in the field of management and administration, specialty 073, Management, with a high level of theoretical knowledge, practical abilities and skills, and other competencies that form critical thinking about the existing and generated new knowledge on the basis of a systemic approach and knowledge in the field of management to achieve sustainable and innovation-oriented development of the economic systems, mastering in the methodology of academic activities, that ensures successful performance of the individual scientific research, generation of scientific developments into practical activities, integration into the international academic environment, formation of the researcher's leadership features and self-development capacity. The main focus is on versatile training of graduate students within the selected profile, individualization of their educational route due to the elective courses and in-depth methodological training in conduct of their own scientific research.
The department prepares specialists in accordance with the educational and professional training program for the second (master) level of higher education in the specialty 073, Management (program guarantor - Doctor of Economics, Professor Y. S. Grynchuk). The educational program purpose is to train highly qualified competitive managerial specialists being able to identify and solve complex tasks and problems in course of learning and in the field of management, in particular in the fields of agricultural production, to ensure the sustainable development of enterprises under uncertain conditions and requirements, to conduct research and/or to implement innovations. Among the elective components, there are disciplines providing an opportunity for higher education students to meet the individual needs in deepening knowledge referred to management of both business structures (small enterprises or corporations) and public sector institutions, forecasting the potential of enterprises, sustainable development strategies, social responsibility of enterprises and organizations etc.
The department prepares specialists in accordance with the educational and professional training program for the first (bachelor) level of higher education in the specialty 073, Management (program guarantor - candidate of economic science, associate professor N. V. Koval). The program provides training of highly qualified competitive specialists-managers able to solve practical problems and complex specialized tasks in the field of management of enterprises, organizations and their divisions, in particular in the field of agricultural production, to ensure their sustainable (balanced) development in the changing terms of business environment and environmental challenges. While studying under this program, the students acquire the necessary knowledge and practical skills in management and administration and are able to solve problems of improvement in material, financial and information flows, to coordinate logistics, marketing, operational strategies, to form and implement the personnel policy, take balanced management decisions in terms of uncertainty and risk.
