The Chroniclers
."What is a Chronicler".
A Chronicler is an adventurer that prefers to transverse through text rather than pathways.
Captivated by writing and taking a quill in hand quicker than a dagger, they find getting lost in a good book is a more fulfilling means of discovering the world around them. Chroniclers tend to have a stronger preference for researching materials and dissecting maps and are well known for their cautious and analytical approach to adventure. That isn't to say they aren't capable of donning armor and a lance, however.
Alongside writing about how they see the world around them, Chroniclers play a crucial role in the success of the Pathfinders' adventures. Rather than embarking on perilous journeys through unknown terrain, their careful attention to detail allows these scholars to note potential undiscovered territory or otherwise poorly-understood terrain. With their superb dedication, operations with the choice knowledge provided ensure success. Their notes and more intermediate understanding of things may even help push for new discoveries of exotic quality.
Chroniclers will be given tasks that gear towards the pursuit of acquiring knowledge, noting how other cultures see the world we share, and creative writing in exchange for Fabled Prestige.
Ranks
All Chroniclers begin their studies as Scribes before they work up to the Chronicler title.
These young aspiring scholars are given more simple works to decode and scrolls to organize and are nurtured by veteran Chroniclers. They may not be novices of their craft outside the branch, but they are new to the Fables branch, thus they are taught about the importance of The Archives as well as the Chroniclers’ Creed they will one day represent. Scribes start with Copper rank and must work their way to Silver.
The Chroniclers are the bulk of the branch, serving as the bridge between the Stewards and the Scribes.
While they are experienced and have the ranks to reflect it, these individuals still have things they could master themselves. These devoted individuals are expected to aid Scribes in their journey up the ranks, as well as look to learn from the Stewards when they can. They also are encouraged to take on more difficult and intriguing works of literature that Scribes cannot work with just yet. Scribes must achieve Gold to become an Chronicler, and they can work their way up to Adamantite.
Lastly, Stewards stand out for their commitment to The Archives.
These are chosen for their superb dedication to the preservation of knowledge and their devotion to teaching their fellow Chroniclers and Scribes their methods of study, as well as upholding the Chroniclers' Creed. They are chosen by the Curators to assist them directly with the health and maintenance of The Archives, as well as decoding the most challenging of literature all of Fables has acquired over the years.
."How can I contribute as an Chronicler?".
There are multiple ways one can contribute to the Group and rank up Fable Prestige!
Below are writing Prompts aimed to inspire your characters to explore Sincadere, whether they aim to collect knowledge, meet new people, or explore the world. There are also Prompts catered to meeting fellow group members, researching the Lore of nations, or even exploring your character through writing.
The ultimate way you can contribute as an Chronicler is to write about what best interests you, and inspire others to do the same.
."How can I rank up as an Chronicler?".
Simple: Roleplay & Write!
The prompts below are the guidelines that Fables of Fortune want its Chroniclers to stay within. There can be some wiggle, but ultimately all submitted works should stay within the theme of the Prompts.
There also can only be certain Prompts submitted once a month. Chroniclers will not be awarded FP for writing multiple entries about just themselves within a month.
The goal is to encourage self-discovery, exploration, and meeting your Pathfinder and Chronicler brethren. You must do all three a month to stay on the right path.
."How do I submit my Writing/ Roleplay Logs?".
You have two ways to submit your work: and it'd be mighty appreciated if you do both!

Analyze the Neighboring Nations
Lay out a map of Helheim & Cabbala Amartia, pointing out key features that may stand out.
What sorts of foods do they serve? Do they have a Code of Honor? What is their culture like?
Are there certain facilities that draw people's attention the most? If so- what?
Do they have a Library or a place where they preserve their history? Describe it.
What are the people like? What kinds of people live in these places?
Converse with and get to know the inhabitants of the neighboring nations.
Who rules the territory? Is it a monarchy? Is the power shared? Who or what seems to hold the influence?
Are the people unified in their respective nations, or are they divided?
Do the locals have any interesting stories or tales to tell? If so, write it down.
Describe the people you meet. Are they friendly? Untrusting? Cunning? Flirtatious?
Venture out and see how neighboring nations interact with one another.
Look into how each nation has risen to power. Are there any similarities? Are there any key differences?
Furthermore: what sections of either nation's history do you find most interesting?
Inquire, ask around: how does the Cabbala feel towards Helheim? How does Helheim feel towards the Jade-Lotus?
Investigate literature from neighboring nations.
Are there any places where scholars are welcome to learn alongside like-minded peers? If so, describe some of the methods and concepts they teach.
How is Magic seen in other cultures? How do other cultures understand Magic?

Fortune of the Month
This is a Writing Prompt for those wanting a warm-up!
Venture out with Pathfinders
Go out on an adventure with a Pathfinder!
Keep a log of the adventure!
Sometimes thought and reason goes out the window while on a treacherous quest. Were there any moments that in hindsight, could have been better handled?
Give a description of the land, the environment, and structures if there were any. Chances are another team will set out toward it.
What did you encounter? Were there any curious beasts you've yet to meet before? Any new exotic fruits you've never seen before?
Describe your companions. Were there any roles, and who was responsible for what? Did anyone do anything inspiring or clever?
How did your team work together during your adventure? Were bonds strengthened or strained, and why?
Go out on a journey of Self-Discovery.
Record your meditation.
Many who come to the Empire hail from either the neighboring nations or even from entirely different worlds. Reflect on where you come from and describe your experiences.
Every individual that joins this group has heeded the call of adventure at some point in their life, whether it was for good or bad intent. What was yours?
Some who traverse the roads don't have a goal set yet, uncertain of what they want to do with themselves. Sometimes they just let the road take them where it wants. Do you have an ultimate goal, and if so- how do you intend to get there? Can Fables of Fortune help you achieve it?
Why do you heed the call to adventure? Is it to experience new things, or meet new people? Perhaps discover something that will change the world?
Take time to bond with a fellow Chronicler or a Pathfinder. The journey is a long road with many moments of uncertainty, but it never has to be one traversed alone.
