This learning module steps through the Information Process (ISP), incorporating a Scope and Sequence framework, and provides curated resources for TLs and educators to embed transliteracy and global DC competencies across the F-6 curriculum.
After completing this module, Teacher Librarians and Educators should be able to:
Learning Outcome (LO1): apply a scaffolded F-6 Scope and Sequence to effectively embed global digital citizenship and transliteracy competencies within the Information Process (ISP)
Learning Outcome (LO2): apply specialist advice when analysing and choosing resources for current and future curriculum planning
Learning Outcome (LO3): develop a Digital Learning Environment (DLE) to meet the needs of information users
Learning Outcome (LO4): collaborate, co-create and share with others to extend personal learning networks (PLN)
Exploring the use of appropriate keywords in order to efficiently search information online while utilising ethical, responsible and safety protocols
Using safe, effective and efficient search strategies to locate information in local and global online platforms
Understanding and responsibly applying copyright laws when organising, citing and paraphrasing information from other sources
