Sunny: Mostly a lost case in the E.I till Marina finds her and brings her back to Nathan to join The Vivisection Studies Club. Sunlight became her enemy; it burned her skin to ash before healing on its own. Her flexible tail shields her from the light and stores the water she desperately needs.

She was probably born in the sewers of an overgrown city and wandered alone for most of their life. Unaware of the genetic modifications done to them, she may have been kidnapped, experimented on, and left for dead—only for the pathogens and filth around her to twist her even further. They survived in the city’s dim alleys, hunting for food under neon lights. Eventually, she was captured and sent to the E.I

Nathan: Fighting for a life in the back of E.I with an unassuming appearance, he fought to keep up a reputation of something scarier. A lone wolf till Marina forced her way by his side.

He grew up in a perfectly normal household—an only child, spoiled and sheltered. When news of the genetic mutation outbreak spread, he became fascinated. He wished he’d been born with mutations of his own—crab arms, cheetah legs, anything that made him special. So when his next-door neighbor promised he could make that wish come true, he didn’t hesitate. The moment he stepped into the man’s musty, taxidermy-filled house, he wanted to run. But before he could, the neighbor pinned him down and sliced his ears with a switchblade. Locked in a basement, hare ears were forcibly sewn onto him. He spent months there, surrounded by rotting fur and silence, the neighbor only opening the door to throw him a live hare—muttering about how they were “better than any other Leporidae.” By the time the E.I. raided the house, it was too late for a reunion. They dragged him away before he could ever see his family again.
