This week we will be focusing on the featured artist Kah Yangni, a queer, black illustrator, image maker, and activist who uses art to provide awareness about the causes they care about and create change. Art Words:
Color Mixing: mixing two or more colors together to make a new color
Blending: a painting technique where two different colors are slightly mixed together when wet, giving a smooth transition from one color to the next
Primary Color: red, yellow, blue
Secondary Colors: orange, green, purple
Concept Words:
Inspiration: To fill someone with the urge or ability to do or feel something, especially something creative
Action: to do something in order to get a particular result
