Year in, year out, this walls
Greets our views, every morning
Rinse and repeat
We cannot see beyond it.
This wall is built
On foundation of our Ego;
Plastered by stigmas;
Painted by discriminations –
We hear loud voices
On the other side,
But as said: they are aliens.
Our grade school teacher taught,
That earth is million wide,
But end to end of country home
Is fragile meter length.
It is about time!
For your walls and my walls
Be pulled down.
Solid concrete bricks:
The need for stamp of papers;
Tons of languages to learn,
How about we speak
Only the language of humanity?
In a borderless world – The human community.
Where colour of skin is not a Gate Pass,
No first or second class citizen in any nation,
Let us pull down the walls?
From where cometh deadly fireworks.
Let us see for ourselves,
As hideous brothers we are,
In a borderless world –
Let us pull down this fence.
