While you are working on a “bulb” (video with interactions) or right after finishing, you can click on “Review” towards the top to see all your answers and go back to look through the video. Here are comprehensive instructions on reviewing a bulb.

If you have finished the bulb and are going back to it at a later time, you can still review the bulb by selecting “Review” or just playing the video.

Do NOT select “Retake Bulb” or your answers will be reset and your score will go back to 0. Here are more instructions on completing a bulb.

There could be a few reasons for this:

• Sometimes it takes a little bit of time for the Canvas gradebook to sync with PlayPosit.

• You didn’t actually finish the whole “bulb.” You could have missed something at the very end of the bulb.

• You restarted the bulb, which reset all the scores. You’ll need to do the bulb again. After you are finished, please don’t “restart” it.

It can take up to a week to input your LCD attendance. If you still have a zero for your LCD three days after the month end, please contact me.

No, I will not be recording Live Class Discussions for privacy and legal reasons. We are not allowed to record and distribute videos that include students’ information or work. This may change in the future if EVC develops some legal waivers/paperwork to allow recording.

If you missed the points for a month's LCD, you can make up for it by doing one of the alternative assignments, more extra credit in form of extra LCDs, attendance of special EVC events, and other assignments as they come up.

I grade assignments a few days after the initial due date. This way students have an idea of their current grade. If the assignment is missing, it gets a zero. However, once it is completed, I’ll update the grade according to my late work policy.

The specific instructions for the Practical Project Presentation are in the “Practical Project Presentation” Canvas assignment. These are the questions you will be asked to answer:

• What topic did you choose?

• What are you planning to do (write to newspaper, or to an official - and which official)?

• Why do you care about this issue?

• What are you hoping the result of your action will be?

• Can you think of other ways to help with this cause?

• What are some ideas for other people, like students in our class, to help with this issue?

No, the Practical Project is not extra credit. You must complete it, and you have two choices:

• Service Learning

• Advocacy

If you do the Service Learning, you will earn extra credit beyond what you will earn with Advocacy.
