FULL-COLOR PIECES

This is a small collection of works I created primarily during 2022-2023 as part of my application portfolio for art school. I experimented with themes such as the formation of personal identity, navigating trauma and loss, and facing a crossroads of major decisions at life. All of these pieces were created using traditional mediums, primarily colored pencils and alcohol-based ink markers. Several of these pieces are from 2024 as well.

The skills I focused on in this project were honing my ability to draw human anatomy and proportion, particularly in illustrating human hands and characters. I enjoyed exploring color theory and layering, particularly in the colored dance floor tiles in my "Flirt" poster.
