BLACK & WHITE SKETCHES

These were other pieces I created during 2022-2023 both as a part of my art school portfolio as well as individual pieces from my time as a student at Pratt Institute. I experimented with shading, depth, use of new materials (various graphites), and based my pieces off of direct observation, which was new to me as an artist. 

I enjoyed focusing on form and composition as key aspects of these pieces, and through this project I gained experience in fleshing out scenes involving multiple people/characters interacting together.
