Hi, I'm Evan!  (he/him/his)

By day I'm a native New Yorker and an undergraduate philosophy student, but by night I'm a character designer, visual artist, & language enthusiast.

In the past decade, I have devoted myself to a variety of personal projects - books, graphic novels, animated shows, video games, comics, and even tattoo design. I find making art incredibly calming, fulfilling, and exciting, and often lose myself in creating characters, making new posters for my apartment, or creating gifts for others.

I view the arts as a means of direct connection to the soul and believe everyone can benefit from learning to express themselves creatively. In my free time, I enjoy teaching others, whether it be in languages (I speak English, French and Spanish and am learning Russian, Chinese, and Korean!) or the arts.  I am also currently writing a YA fiction novel!

In 2024 I led a weekly arts course at a rehabilitation center in Pennsylvania, where I taught patients how to make artwork & crafts focused on improving their mental health. I had so much fun teaching this class and creating affirmation art, meditative doodles, and friendship bracelets with the participants!

Self-expression, authentic living, and kindness are core values of mine and I strive for my artwork to embody those principles. Thus, my characters are designed with diversity and inclusivity in mind and I try to showcase a variety of races/ethnicities, gender identities, and body types in my artwork!
