Parents, Guardians, and Families,


The Central Consolidated School District Board of Education has approved students in grades PreK – 5th (only) to return back to school following a hybrid model. This model pertains to students whose parents have requested their student return to the traditional classroom learning atmosphere, all other students will continue learning remotely.


The schedule for the hybrid instructional model will include a shortened school day that will start at 8:30AM and release students at 2:00PM, with buses running ½ hour later then their previous scheduled time for pickup. The following is the startup timelines for the Hybrid Model:


  • Monday, November 2nd - this will be a “dry run” for students to attend the hybrid model

  • Tues. & Wed., November 3rd and 4th - debrief and troubleshoot potential concerns

  • November 5th and 6th – Hybrid instruction at Eva B. Stokely

  • Monday, November 9th - First full week of Hybrid Re-entry

To ensure student and staff safety:


  • All students with a fever or related Covid19 symptoms should not attempt to come to school

  • Students will wear a face mask covering and social distance while on school grounds

  • Students will not be allowed to bring backpacks to school

  • No food will be allowed to be brought from home (one reusable water bottle will be provided)

  • Parents need to read and adhere to the CCSD Transportation Policy provided

  • No unauthorized guests will be allowed in the school building/classrooms

  • Students will eat breakfast and lunch in their respected classrooms

  • School counselor must be notified if your student appears to have high levels of anxiety or depression

  • School-wide restroom protocol will be followed and drinking fountains will not be in use

  • Classrooms will be disinfected daily with deep cleaning on Wednesdays and Fridays

  • Automictic had sanitizer dispensers will be placed throughout the school building

  • School administration will follow the Quarantine/Isolation decision making tree created for families, students, and staff

During this time of uncertainty and caution, I would like to praise the parents at Eva B. Stokely for all of their work and sacrifices. So many of you have spent countless hours guiding your student’s remote learning and have spent your hard-earned money on technology to support their learning.


I would also like to extend an invitation to all students in grades PreK - 5th grade to return to Eva B. Stokely classrooms for the Hybrid Model (face-to-face) instruction.
