Hello EBS second grade students, parents and families.

First and foremost I hope this finds you safe and well. C. Begay and Mrs. J have set up google classroom for second grade.

Go to google classroom and type in the code Bkudwns. Invitations have also been sent out via email. Google classroom is a resource that can be used to help to keep your student current by using the Great Minds curriculum, which is the same curriculum that is used in the classroom.

Readworks is a resource that has also been added. Articles have been posted on google classroom for your student to practice reading , vocabulary and answering comprehension questions.

Splashmath is another resource that has been added this week. It is a fun, interactive site for math practice, I will go in and set the standard that needs to be practiced going into third grade, the assignments will be there for your student to practice. Invitations to join Splashmath went out via email.

Don’t forget to go on to google classroom~ there are fun activities for your student to do there as well as academic. Currently there is a scavenger hunt! If your student competes the hunt they will earn a prize! The prize will be mailed to them. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me~ I check my email multiple times a day.
