The students and teachers participated in activities and workshops such as: "integration and inclusion through music", "integration and inclusion through gastronomy". They realized the need to include all students in the educational process and in society, driven by empathy, cooperation and respect for the different cultural identity of each people. They visited the Regional Government for Immigration and spoke with the Regional Governor about the social, political and economic impact of immigration both in the past and today, and especially about the human side of immigration, promoting better support systems for immigrants. They visited the Madeira Assembly and spoke with the representatives of the Parliament on issues of regional legislation.
The students and teachers took a catamaran tour where they observed dolphins and whales. Thus they gained knowledge about the marine life of the island. The students explored marine life and ecosystems in their natural environment. They became aware of the conservation of the oceans and the importance of preserving the marine environment. Practical learning experiences were promoted, and students were encouraged to engage directly with nature and the environment.
Finally, the participating students and teachers came into contact with the culture, morals and customs of the region, interacted with people from different countries and created beautiful memories.
