Who We Are

Momina Abid

Currently living in Toronto, Ontario, Momina is passionate about all things education! Her journey started with teaching in an extremely under resourced school in rural Pakistan, which drove her to seek barrier free access to quality education for children across the globe. Momina believes the answer to her problem lies in making the best use of the technological resources available to us today and working collectively. 

Jasmine Chapman

Jasmine Chapman, known as "Jazz," is a high school teacher at a Catholic high school in Ontario. Her main specializations are in Drama, Indigenous Studies, and Technological Education. She is passionate about educational technology and enjoys sharing new applications she discovers with others. Jazz believes in the productive potential of utilizing mobile devices in the classroom. Her goal is to recommend technologies with positive UI and UX to ensure that both educators and students benefit from the technology, rather than it being a hindrance.

Olivia Barratt

Olivia, based in Vancouver, is secondary school teacher who teaches  French and Indigenous studies. She believes that thoughtful experience design and the use of mobile collaboration tools can significantly enhance the learning experience for her students and make it easier for other educators! Olivia is particularly interested in gamified tools and apps to create more interactive, engaging and personalized educational experiences.
