Makr AR is an application that enables students and teachers to add digital images into the space around. The program provides a number of ways in which to modify their environment and includes the ability to record audio over digitally created scenes. The combination of the Keynote app and Makr AR gives students and teachers endless ways to present stories, ideas, and lessons in a fun and interactive way. Best of all, both apps are completely free to download!

Through this program, students are able incorporate various images into a real-world environment. They can customize their surroundings to suit the needs of their current project!
Interactive storytelling through imbedded imagery and digital voice recording.
Rather than simply writing the story on paper and drawing the corresponding images, students can instead create 3D images, import them into the real-world, and record their story while simultaneously taking the listener on a journey through their story.

Teachers can recreate important historical scenes in their classrooms and record a lesson over the scene, or better yet, take a more constructivist approach to the lesson and have the students develop different historical scenes, embed them throughout the classroom and have their peers engage with the material at their own pace.
