They Eynesbury Assessment Policy establishes expectations for students with regard to good academic scholarship and responsibilities for students in terms of ownership of their learning, endeavour and success.
It is important to note that many of the policies with regard to assessment are directed by the SACE Board of South Australia with the aim of creating fairness, transparency and accuracy in learning and assessment for all students undertaking the SACE.
It is critical that you are aware of the Assessment Policy and how it will be implemented and exercised by your teachers, by the College, and by the SACE Board.
Tests and other in-class assessment tasks (eg oral presentations) are frequent assessment practices.
Students will find information about referencing and the appropriate use of sources on the Eynesbury Library site and the SACE Board website.
Plagiarism is a form of poor scholarship. It involves the use without appropriate acknowledgement of words or ideas of another as if they were a student’s own work. As such, it constitutes an inappropriate use of sources and is a serious breach of the SACE and Eynesbury assessment policies.
