The digital divide can affect education, jobs, healthcare, and communication because people without access to technology may have fewer opportunities and resources.
Emerging Technology a new or developing technology that is expected to grow and become more widely used in the future. These technologies often have the potential to change industries, improve everyday life, or create new ways of solving problems. Emerging technologies are usually still being researched, tested, or improved before becoming common in society.
What did you learn about researching and presenting information by completing the two projects in this unit? By completing these projects, I learned more about researching and presenting information in a clear and organized way. Even though I did not complete one of the projects, I learned a lot from the Emerging Technology Project. I enjoyed the topic selection process because it gave me the opportunity to explore different emerging technologies and choose something that genuinely interested me. I also realized how important it is to use reliable sources and explain information in a way that is easy for others to understand. Another thing I learned was how to use PowerPoint more effectively since I had not used it in a long time, so creating the presentation helped refresh my skills with slide design, visuals, and organizing information.
