Then we planted a linden tree in the schoolyard, and after that we sang karaoke together, performing songs from the partner countries. After lunch, we visited Split, and the bravest ones went for swimming.

The fifth day of LTTA mobility at our school was also interesting. Through learning about the food pyramid, our students and visiting students created the board game "Food pyramid". Each group made their own, and all were interesting and full of original ideas. Our guests were received by the mayor of Prološac, Mr. Mate Lasić. They visited the farm and enjoyed the nature, and then toured Imotski, Proložac and the surrounding lakes. The guests expressed their great satisfaction with the activities, the project and the time spent in Croatia. They were especially delighted by the local cuisine and the friendly approach of everyone they met.
"Erasmus+ is a great opportunity to get to know new cultures, customs and traditions, but also a great way to improve your communication skills in English. This school year, our school hosted the Erasmus+ project: Cook it yourself and keep away from fast food. A total of eleven students and four teachers from Poland and Turkey visited us. The main topic of this project was a problem that is often present in teenagers, but also in all other people: the problem with fast food. Today, we all eat fast food and rarely cook anything ourselves. This project contained many interactive workshops and activities that introduced us in to the problem and its consequences, but also to the ways we can use to avoid this this problem.
Our guests were staying with our students, in our homes. My guest came from Poland.
Although the guests arrived on Sunday, the project did not start until the next day. At the welcome ceremony, we sang them some traditional songs. We danced 'Vinjansko/Imotsko kolo' and sang 'ganga'. In this way, the guests got to know part of our tradition. Then, we all participated in some games. On that day, students toured our school and were supposed to walk to 'Badnjevice'. But, unfortunately, the rain stopped us that day.
The next day, Tuesday, began with presentations that introduced us with medicinal plants. All students presented their traditional food. The guest students gave an interview for the school radio. That day we visited Makarska. It was raining, but that didn't stop us.
On the third day, we had an interesting workshop with teacher Nikolina Garac. We made healthy banana waffles and milkshakes. Guests from Poland and Turkey visited 'Samčović' bakery.
On Thursday, after several days of rain, the sun finally came out. We took advantage of that and we all danced 'Jerusalema' dance together on the playground in front of the school. We all presented a few simple recipes, and then we had karaoke in the Crystal Hall. Karaoke were a bit of a challenge for me because I had to sing in Polish. However, I learned the song quickly and it was not as difficult as I thought. On Thursday afternoon we visited Split.
Friday was the last day of our mobility. On Friday, we all had to make food pyramids. Pyramids were supposed to be an interactive game. Each team designed their own pyramid and later we presented them. We visited the local farm and the town of Imotski.
On Saturday, our guests returned to their homes.
I am happy because I decided to participate in this project. This is another experience I will never forget. I think that I have improved my knowledge of the English language and gained new knowledge about other cultures. Now I'm going to high school and I hope to participate again in Erasmus+ or some similar project." Karla Štrljjić 8.a
