Our Erasmus + project continues! We are on a new and last mobility trip, to Turkey, to the city of Bodrum. The first day, we are getting to know each other, and since the theme of this LTTA mobility is "Healthy Body&Mind Harmony", we had the opportunity to learn more about this topic through the workshop "Balance between body, mind and soul" (Nur Yatici, holistic instructor). After lunch, through a fun game, the students explored and raised awareness of the importance of healthy lifestyle habits. We hope that the rest of the mobility will be just as successful.

We started the second day of our stay by visiting windmills built five hundred years ago. From the hill on which they are located, there is a view of the city of Bodrum, whose houses are traditionally on two floors, with white walls and blue window frames. After that, we visited District Director of Education, who welcomed us nicely. We introduced ourselves to her and expressed our satisfaction for participating in the project.
We continued the day by visiting a castle with a rich history, which is also a museum with numerous historical artifacts. Particulary interesting is a ship from 1200 BC that was discovered in 1960 under the sea near Gelidonia. After that, we had lunch in a restaurant with traditional Turkish cuisine, and then we visited the Bodrum bazaar. The day passed very pleasantly and successfully thanks to the exceptional effort of our hosts, who made an effort to come up with activities in which we will have a positive impact on preserving the healthy harmony of our mind and body, and at the same time learn about the past, tradition and culture of the place where we are currently staying.

On the third day of our mobility, in accordance with the goals of the project, the emphasis was on physical activity and healthy eating, and therefore we visited all the planned locations by walking, making around 12,000 steps. We gathered at the school at 9 o'clock and headed to Turkbuku beach, which is approximately 4 kilometers from the school. It is a large sandy beach located on the coast of the Aegean Sea, which is extremely popular among tourists who call Bodrum the Turkish St. Tropez.
After free time for visiting the small shops of local artisans and walking along the beach, we had lunch at a nearby restaurant and then headed to the popular wellness destination TheLifeCo Bodrum Wellbeing & Detox Center. In the center, we were kindly welcomed by managers and employees who took us on a tour, explaining the role of each individual part of the center. Among other things, they offer revitalization and detoxification programs for the body and mind, connecting the mind and emotions, and activities such as yoga, meditation and daily walks in nature. We were particularly delighted by the healthy eating workshop, which was led by the center's chief nutritionist. At the workshop, we learned a lot about raw food, vegan food, the difference between cold-pressed juices from light and dark green vegetables, the different benefits of juice and smoothies, how to make homemade almond milk and smoothies from it, homemade vegan cottage cheese, healthy vegan tortilla, vegan sushi and raw brownie and we had the opportunity to taste all of the above. The interesting thing about this center is that it is often visited by politicians, actors, top models from all over the world and numerous other public figures from Turkey.

For the fourth day of LTTA in Turkey, our hosts organized a boat trip with the aim of getting to know the coast of Bodrum and the bays that adorn it, but also rest for body and soul. After gathering at the school, we took the bus to the port where we boarded the ship. We sailed from the port to Meteor Bay, which is interesting because of the craters, which, according to legend, are believed to have been created by meteor impacts. Then there was a drive to the cove called Rabbit's Snout, where the students had the opportunity to swim and socialize with their friends from Turkey and Poland, and in this way further improve their social skills and knowledge of the English language, while the hosts on the boat prepared for us lunch. We ended the day with another walk through the streets of Bodrum.

On the last day of LTTA in the city of Bodrum, in accordance with the goals of the project, sports competitions were organized by the project coordinator of their school, Timurcan Altan. After gathering at the school, all students participating in the project divided into teams and played several games of volleyball. In addition to volleyball, our students had the opportunity to try an interesting game - a race on the boards, "caterpillar walk" which requires three students for one team.
Even the teachers did not resist this competition. These activities encouraged sportsmanship among students, fair play and generally healthy lifestyles. The Turkish team made a special effort for the mobility closing ceremony, in which all students of the school participated. After the hosts gave us symbolic gifts, the students sang the Turkish national anthem for us. Many thanks to the hosts for their hospitality and everything they did to make our LTTA in Turkey so successful.
