Benefits

The benefits in the action of this proposal can help lead to a more stable education system that could be implemented not only in Long island but also through the whole New York State. This proposal has the possibility of making it better for teachers to teach and for students to learn. The teachers would have the sufficient funds to be proud of their jobs and not worry about being laid off due to fund mismanagement of fund shortages. The classroom size would be smaller and the student could be more assured of the necessary student teacher interaction.

The impact it could have on school districts also involves in giving the communities better opportunities to come together and be less segregated since no one is above the other. I believe that with less barriers in education equity there is the possibility of an indirect impact in diversifying communities because a diverse community can lead to producing more aware and educated students by interaction and life experience.

In this photo i'm at my High School graduation with my other siblings and very noticeable i find myself not being too happy and thats because i felt like my future was already decided for me. I was going to work hard and long like my father but i now realize that the adequate education was my key to changing my family tree. If kids nowadays were to be given the right tools and opportunity they wouldn't have to accept their fate but rather decide to make their own path and that path is build with the appropriate education. School segregation can help limit the chances for minorities like myself therefore initiatives must be taken to provide everyone with the necessary tools (funds) to succeed.

During my time in High School there were budget cuts that limited my ability to take advantage of after school programs which themselves were becoming limited. All due to budget cuts.
