Emerging technologies Project  

We were asked to research an emerging technology and make and present a presentation on our chosen emerging technology. 

The topic 

I chose 3D printing in the Veterinary medicine field. I chose this topic because I work in that field, and I am very interested in anything related to Vet Med and the care of the patients.

 Interesting Fact/ What I Learned 

One thing I learned through this project that was interesting is that, through 3D printing, surgeons have been able to perform a full spine replacement in a matter of minutes. Overall, through this project, I learned more about presenting research rather than anything. When presenting findings and making a presentation, as the presenter, you are responsible for verbally giving most of the information. The information on the slides available for the audience to read should be minimal, so the audience is more focused on you and they are not overwhelmed trying to read all the information in the slides.
