This category focuses on the practical abilities needed to plan, design, implement, manage, and communicate within professional field settings. It covers both the hands-on creation of programs and the administrative, technical, and communication skills vital for their successful delivery and evaluation.
Today’s world is increasingly complex and requires many voices and perspectives to respond to local and global challenges. Health programs, Kinesiology related fields and Education draw on generational wisdom to build new knowledge and develop positive and trusting relationships, to hear and act in ways that support al learners/clients/public users, both individually and collectively.
Learning to communicate respectfully is the essence of providing positive opportunities for all students/clients/users.

This category encompasses the theoretical background, core concepts, and comprehensive understanding required within the different professional fields of recreation and health education, kinesiology and physical education. It includes knowledge about the field itself, determinants of health, specific populations considerations, and broader contexts.
Teachers, health practitioners or kinesiology related professionals draw on many sources of knowledge to create positive learning and health promoting environments for their students/clients/users, such as, disciplinary knowledge, community context, and historical wisdom – to allow students/clients/users to develop a sense of place and purpose.
