Understanding your portfolio and initial setup
Google provides the ecosystem for the portfolio, providing tools such as Sites, Drive, Docs, Forms, etc.
Create a Google account, or use your existing one, to start building your own portfolio.
Google Sites is a website builder that we will be using to build our portfolio. Essentially, your portfolio is a website that you create, customize, and develop through your program. Google Sites provides a rich platform to connect files, media, and other content with your portfolio, offering customization options for you to create a unique identity.
Google Drive is a cloud storage tool that will serve as your resource hub. Create a folder for each course to store your assignments, copy useful course resources, and build your own inventory of media, documents, etc. Saving your resources in Google Drive is an easy way to then upload to your Google Sites page and share with others.
This is the landing page for your portfolio. Create an individual identity that speaks to your personality, approach, and interests.
Add an image (or more) and a bio and add links to your other websites, articles, and social media.
Each of the 12 EPHE competencies have a page for you to discuss your own learning and development in relation to them.
Within each competency, draw out a combination of elements from assignments, coursework, and other resources to show evidence of your learning (i.e., artifacts).
Each of the courses that you take becomes a page here. Here, you specify your course goals in relation to one or more competencies and reflect on your assignments.
