"I have strong training in three fields: pedagogy, science and the arts. (1) I hold a PhD in Sustainability Education, and I'm a credentialed adult school teacher, and have taught at all levels of education as a substitute in more than 75 classrooms. My sentiments are invested in student-centered teaching, and I have developed a constructivist discipline strategy that works well. (2) I hold an MS in Geology and do freelance consulting work related to science, including editing scientific articles for English language usage. I also do independent research through the Winkle Institute. (3) I have worked as a stone sculptor and painter, and also have done some moldmaking and flute making, plus ceramics, etc. I've experimented in a lot of media. I've done a little work in the temporal arts as well, including a few projects as a poet, playwright and songwriter. My undergraduate degree is in Aesthetics. In addition to the above, I've been very active in disability and complementary medicine communities, and did some of my teaching for students with disabilities. "
