COVID-19 and Occupational Health

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), occupational health addresses "all determinants of workers' health, including risks for disease and injury in the occupational environment, social and individual factors, and access to health services."

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, many different occupations are being severely impacted. We highlight a few of these impacted groups, including first responders, health care providers, mental health providers, teachers, and those involved in post-mortem care.
