Task 1-Sixth Form Study Skills

At Cowes Sixth Form, we require all students to take detailed notes to keep within well organised subject folders to ensure the very best revision and study routines.

Your task is to create a summary and information resource to outline effective study and revision methods. You may present your research as a written essay or presentation (such as PowerPoint) . You must cover the following study topics:

Cornell note taking
Sketch note taking/visual note taking
Practice testing
Interleaving
Distributed Practice
Forgetting curve
Harvard Referencing
