In our College English 12 class, we completed a meaningful project after reading Tuesdays with Morrie, where we reflected on our own lives to identify our greatest mentors. Through this project, many of us were able to strengthen relationships with people who already meant a lot to us, or learn more about family members who have passed away by listening to stories and memories from loved ones.
Like any project worth time and effort, it came with challenges. Some of us struggled to set up interviews, while others found the emotional aspect difficult at times. However, those challenges made the experience feel more genuine and impactful. In the end, everyone was able to create something personal that they could be proud of.
