Quality Assurance

The Faculty of Engineering and Agro-Industry has the quality assurance system to determine a guideline for operating, monitoring, and evaluating the implementation outcomes based on main tasks of the faculty. This must be in accordance with the Ministry’s rules and regulations and methods of quality education assurance.

Agricultural Engineering: to study engineering principles and their applications in the design of machinery and systems for agricultural product processing and production of biomaterials such as farm machinery, processing equipment, irrigation and farm buildings.

Food Engineering: to combines science, microbiology and engineering education for foods and related industries. Graduates can work for firms that design and build food processing plants, consulting firms and government agencies.

Postharvest Technology: to concentrates on the pre-harvesting, harvesting and postharvesting operations such as quality grading, standardization, GAP, GMP, HACCP and optimal preservation method to obtain the best product for exporting to foreign market and processing plants or best quality of perishable products for consumers.

Food Science and Technology: to emphasizes on basic knowledge of Food Science and Technology relating to food processing and manufacturing, food analysis, good manufacturing practices and food quality assurance system, and food product development.

Rubber and Polymer Technology: to study and focus on fundamental science relating to rubber and polymer technology. This program offers courses in the theory and practice of rubber technology and polymer science. Graduates can develop rubber and polymer products and work for industry and government.
