Help desk hours during Fall 2019: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-7:30pm, Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm. However, students are encouraged to call and leave a voice message or e-mail anytime.
For our class, we will mostly be using the Writing Center. Writing, science writing, reading, and ESL tutoring is provided by appointment only. This Center supports writing needs for all classes. The Writing Center has a computer lab (B-167) available for student use during our hours of operation (see below).
The Cuyamaca College Writing Center provides high quality, helpful and FREE tutoring. You can go to the writing center, in B167 or you can request online tutoring using the form below. With COVID restrictions, only online tutoring is available right now.
The tutors in the center are former or current Cuyamaca college students themselves, and they can help you with any part of the writing process. I think tutoring is incredibly valuable, and many of my very best students take advantage of it, so I hope you will too.
For Fall 2020, tutoring for all subjects has been consolidated into one virtual center to make things easier for you. The Cuyamaca Virtual Tutoring Center is completely free and will be open

If you are eligible for DSPS services, please contact me during the first week of the course, so I can make the necessary accommodations. I am more than willing and happy to accommodate students with disabilities.
Students with disabilities who may need academic accommodations are encouraged to discuss their authorized accommodations from Disability Support Programs and Services (DSPS) with their professors early in the semester so that accommodations may be implemented as soon as possible
The faculty member will work with the DSPS Office to ensure that proper accommodations are made for each student. By law, it is up to the DSPS Office which accommodations are appropriate, not the student or the faculty. This includes accommodations in a clinical setting.
If you are not sure if you are eligible for DSPS services, please contact our wonderful DSPS office. They information is below:
Location: One Stop Center, A-113
Phone: 619-660-4239
Their hours of operation may very based on the semester, so here is the link you can check: Cuyamaca DSPS Office
