• Four Writing Projects: ✏️

  • Writing Project 1: 10% of grade

  • Writing Project 2: 15% of grade

  • Writing Project 3: 20% of grade

  • Writing Project 4: 20% of grade

• Writing Tasks: Weekly practice of writing elements, 15% of grade

• Discussion Boards: There will be a discussion board (sometimes two) due each week. The discussions will be relevant to the topic of the writing project we are currently working on. In order to receive full credit for the discussion, you will need to develop your original response of at least 250 words plus a minimum of two responses to your classmates, each at least 150 words long. Discussion boards are important in an online class because they are one of our main ways of communication. It is where we get to share our thoughts and ideas with one another! 😊

• Peer Reviews: Each essay we work on will require you to participate in peer review. Peer review is an essential part of academic writing. More on that to come!

• Final Exam: A timed source-based argument essay, 10% of grade
