While your overall work as you submit your essays has the most weight, please notice that your the preparatory work you complete, along with your discussions, writing tasks, and peer reviews, are also worth significant amounts of the total grade. That is because I greatly value the effort you put into your work. I want to see that you are working hard, and I want you to be awarded for that.
A 90%-100%
B 80%- 89%
C 70%-79%:
D 60%-69%

Extra Credit Opportunities:
You can receive extra credit two ways:
Submitting your paper for tutoring in the online writing lab or NetTutor. You can receive 5 points extra credit for each submission, but you are limited to one visit per essay, so you can earn up to 30 points.
Reviewing more than one classmate's paper on the Peer Review Board. You can earn 5 extra credit points on each board by reviewing two classmates' rough drafts.
Note: If you are found plagiarizing, you will no longer be allowed to complete any extra credit activities.
