Within its health projects, the French Red Cross draws on integrated and complementary expertise,  where appropriate, to ensure the quality and efficiency of its interventions.  

These integrated areas of expertise include mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), gender and inequality reduction, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). They help strengthen actions in the priority areas defined by the international strategy. These expertise areas, along with their associated approaches, are applied in an integrated manner across all projects related to the main issues of health and disaster risk management (DRM).
