Field Preparedness (PRÊT Mechanism)

The PRÊT Mechanism (Field Preparedness) is designed to anticipate and identify, ahead of any humanitarian crisis, the types of disasters that the French Red Cross (FRC) intends to respond to in a given country.

This approach also involves establishing trigger criteria and thresholds, as well as defining three operational and budgetary scenarios for each type of crisis. 

Ultimately, this method helps to standardise simplified operational procedures in emergencies, supporting a faster and more coordinated response during crises.
