Contingency Plan (CP)

Just as at the community and state levels, Host National Societies (HNS) must have Contingency Plans (CPs), whether focused on a specific risk or multiple hazards. 

These contingency plans can be developed at various organisational levels within the HNS, whether at the national level or within local branches. They involve the different actors and staff involved in the response, both within the RCRC Movement and among local authorities and institutions.
