The Medical Simulation Fellowship at Northwell Health prepares graduates to become innovative health professions educators and leaders in the field of simulation.
Through a robust foundation in educational theory, our fellows bridge the gap between classroom learning and simulation practice. Simulation is a mainstay of health professions education, shown to both improve content retention and procedural competence. By focusing on the learner through both guided discovery and thoughtful simulation experience, we directly impact the trajectory of care and lives of our most complex and critical patients.
Our graduates leave fellowship prepared to meet the challenges of ever changing educational and healthcare landscapes in the twenty-first century.
Our Values:
Preparing learners across a variety of disciplines and professions to rise to the challenge of caring for our most critical and medically complex patients.
Pushing the envelope of medical simulation; with an emphasis on discovery, lifelong learning, innovation, team building and patient safety.
Through collaboration and departmental partnerships, our commitment to academic scholarship continues to be recognized at regional, national and international level.
New for AY' 2026-2027:
