The South Central Workforce Development Board, Career TEAM and the Kentucky Career Center offer a variety of ways for businesses to participate in job fairs throughout the year. These events are critical for employers in our 10-county region to reach jobseekers equipped and eager to fill their open positions. Each of the listings below are posted on the South Central Workforce Board Calendar of Events website and include social media marketing promotion managed by the South Central Workforce Development Board.
KCC-hosted Employer Showcase (WEEKLY): Host a booth / table directly inside the Bowling Green-based Kentucky Career Center (KCC) and meet jobseekers directly. There is no charge for this event. These events typically occur each Tuesday from 9 am - 12 pm.
Regional Hiring Events (QUARTERLY): Regional Hiring Events occur in different counties throughout the year. The events are held across our 10-county region in order to reach as many employers and job seekers as possible. For a small fee, employers get a table, 2 chairs and 2 box lunches. For small businesses (only those with LESS THAN 10 TOTAL employees) the rate is discounted by 75% ! In addition, all participating employers receive TONS of social media sharing, promotion and advertising and gain access to Job Fair Best Practices! It’s a great value!
Annual Events: Throughout the year, the South Central Workforce Development Board either hosts or works closely with other entities to conduct Hiring Events for specific demographics of jobseekers and individuals. These may include immigrants and refugees or graduating High School Seniors. Contact us and follow us on social media (links in the footer below) to learn more about these special events and how your business can get involved.
College Campus: These events take place primarily at one of the campuses of Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College and target students of specific academic areas. There is no charge for this event.
On-site at Employer: Our team can come to you to assist your business with an on-site Hiring Event! There is no charge for this event.
Hosted by Partner: Host a booth/table at one of our valued regional community partners providing valuable services to address employment barriers for individuals. There may or may not be a charge for this event since these are not hosted by the South Central Workforce Development Board or Career TEAM.
