Empathy Training Summit

The Empathy Center has hosted a series of over 18 Empathy Summits dedicated to building the Empathy Movement. On September 2 and 9, 2023, we held Summits focused on A Review of Empathy Training Programs From Around the World (see below).

In 2027, we will host a new series of Training Summits on the same theme, bringing together individuals and organizations to present their empathy training programs. Presenters will share 15–20 minute presentations about their work.

• Saturday,  April 3, 2027:  A Review of Empathy Training Programs From Around the World

These Summits will serve several purposes:

1. Compiling a comprehensive directory of empathy training programs

2. Creating a show case for empathy trainings.

3. Networking and building community with empathy trainiers.

4. Building the Empathy Movement Training Curriculum

5. Connecting with empathy trainers worldwide who may wish to contribute to the Curriculum

6. Generating broader interest in the Empathy Movement Training Curriculum

Each presenter is invited to share:

1. Philosophical Origin — the values and ideas that ground their training

2. Core Training Outline — an overview of their program's structure and content

3. Transformation Story — one story illustrating the impact of their work
